Sweet Home, Review - I CAME TO COMPLAIN (ENG/SPA)
Hello, people of the Internet. Today I'm here to complain 😅😅😅😅 and I've just finished watching the first season of Sweet Home and I want to jump off a balcony. This series is the adaptation of one of my favourite Webtoons and although it started out perfect, with many similarities even in the dialogue, little by little it took a different path and I hated the ending (but later I'll explain why I say this).
Hola, gente de Internet. Hoy me vengo a quejar 😅😅😅😅 y es que acabo de terminar de ver la primera temporada de Sweet Home y quiero lazarme por un balcón. Esta serie es la adaptación de uno de mis Webtoons preferidos y aunque empezó perfecto, con muchas similitudes incluso de diálogo, poco a poco fue tomando otro camino y el final lo detesté (pero más adelante explicaré bien por qué digo esto)
I have to put a spoiler alert beforehand because in order to be able to complain about the differences, I have to give spoilers for both the series and the Webtoon, so if you haven't seen the series and/or read the Webtoon and want to do so, come and read when you've finished them, although at the beginning I will talk about the positive points of the series and therefore in that part there will be no spoilers, we will only talk about the cinematography, performances, staging and soundtrack, once I'm done talking about these topics, if you want to avoid spoilers you can go 😜
Tengo que poner de antemano una alerta de spoiler porque para poder quejarme a mis anchas de las diferencias, tengo que dar spoilers tanto de la serie como del Webtoon, asà que si no han visto la serie y/o leÃdo el Webtoon y lo quieren hacer, vengan a leer cuando los hayan terminado, aunque al principio hablaré de los puntos positivos de la serie y por tanto en esa parte no habrá spoilers, solo hablaremos de la fotografÃa, actuaciones, puesta en escena y soundtrack, una vez haya terminado de hablar de estos temas, si quieren evitar los spoilers se pueden ir 😜
After the death of his family in a tragic accident, and a life full of bullying, Hyun-soo decides to end his life, however, a series of events will make him rethink his place in the world. A wave of infection called "monsterisation", the cause of which is unknown, turns humans into murderous monsters who submit to the will of their "parasite". It is up to Hyun-soo and his neighbours to do their best to survive in this new world that is falling apart.
Después de la muerte de su familia en un trágico accidente, y una vida llena de bullying, Hyun-soo decide poner fin a su vida, sin embargo, una serie de acontecimientos le hará replantearse su lugar en el mundo. Una ola de infección llamada "monstrualización" cuya causa es desconocida, hace de los humanos monstruos asesinos que se someten a la voluntad de su "parásito". Es deber de Hyun-soo y sus vecinos, hacer todo lo posible por sobrevivir en este nuevo mundo que se cae a pedazos.
I have to say that I liked the cinematography and staging quite a lot. The series has many interesting shots and an artistic intention present. Its beginning is one of the most beautiful I've seen, a heavy snowfall, a boy walking barefoot, almost without clothes, despite the inclement weather, even without context you can understand the intention behind the scene, the scene itself refers to someone stripped, lonely, emulates loneliness and the coldness that is felt with it, all in a succession of very artistic and delicate shots. The lighting of the scene is also beautiful and precise, with helicopter spotlights illuminating the place.
Tengo que decir que la fotografÃa y puesta en escena me gustó bastante. La serie tiene muchos planos interesantes y una intención artÃstica presente. Su inicio es de los más preciosos que he visto, una fuerte nevada, un muchacho que camina descalzo, casi sin ropa pese a la inclemencia del clima, aun sin contexto se entiende la intención tras la escena, la escena en sà se refiere a alguien despojado, solitario, emula a la soledad y la frialdad que se siente con ella, todo en una sucesión de planos muy artÃsticos y delicados. La iluminación de la escena también es bella y precisa, son reflectores de helicópteros los que iluminan el lugar.
There are quite a lot of sharp shots and close-ups (the most interesting in the series in my opinion) as well as some transition shots that I liked quite a lot.
Hay bastantes planos picados y contrapicados (los más interesantes dentro de la serie en mi opinión) también algunos de transición que me gustaron bastante.
The Sondtrack is very good. The main song is perfect (I mean the organ toccata that for some strange reason I couldn't find on youtube) is precisely an organ toccata whose melody is as appealing as it is disturbing, plus a set of choirs that increase the level of epicness, it's very very good.
El Sondtrack, es buenÃsimo. El tema principal es perfecto (me refiero a la tocata de órgano que por algún extraño motivo no encontré en youtube) es precisamente una tocata de órgano cuya melodÃa es tan atrayente como inquietante, además se suma un conjunto de coros que aumentan el nivel de epicidad, es muy muy bueno.
The performances were very good, especially in the drama scenes, the deaths of some characters were very heartfelt and even made me cry, which speaks very well of the actors, because the script did not help much and they did what they could with very little. Now let's talk about the negative aspects and remember the spoiler alert.
Las actuaciones estuvieron muy buenas, sobre todo en las escenas de drama, las muertes de algunos personajes fueron muy sentidas e incluso me hicieron llorar, lo que precisamente habla muy bien de los actores ya que el guion no ayudó mucho e hicieron lo que pudieron con muy poco. Ahora si, hablemos de los aspectos negativos y con ello recuerden la alerta de Spoilers.
I'll start by complaining about the CGI, it's horrible, let's say that after watching the series constantly you get used to it but it doesn't take away the poor quality, even if it's Netflix (remember that after all it's not Warner for example) but still I think they should have tried a bit harder. Having placed in the top 1 of the platform, I hope this aspect improves for the second season (which I still haven't decided whether to watch or not).
Empezaré quejándome del CGI, es horrible, digamos que después de ver la serie constantemente te acostumbras, pero no le quita la mala calidad, incluso tratándose de Netflix (recordemos que después de todo no es la Warner por ejemplo) pero aún asà creo que debieron esforzarse un poco más. Habiéndose situado en el top 1 de la plataforma, espero que este aspecto mejore para la segunda temporada (que aún no me decido si ver o no)
Now let's talk about the characters and the script... They are a disaster! It's all part of the script and its bad adaptation, that is, the series itself is not bad but being an adaptation of a visual material (comic) leaves much to be desired. They adapted 140 chapters to a season of only 10 episodes, as a consequence of this, we have characters with little development, and an extremely rushed dynamism that does not make us enjoy one hundred percent the best scenes.
Ahora hablemos de los personajes y el guion... ¡Son un desastre! todo parte del guion y su mala adaptación, es decir, la serie por si sola no es mala, pero al ser una adaptación de un material visual (comic) deja mucho que desear. Adaptaron 140 capÃtulos a una temporada de apenas 10 episodios, como consecuencia de esto, tenemos personajes con poco desarrollo y un dinamismo en extremo apresurado que no nos hace disfrutar al cien por ciento las mejores escenas.
In the Webtoon, the monsters are portrayed as almost indestructible beings whose only weakness is fire, Hyun is very afraid of them and even knowing he is a special infected, he thinks about it every time he has to do a rescue mission or search for supplies, in the series this part is shown in a succession of scenes that make us see the task as simple and the scenes with the monsters (the great protagonists) practically pass to the background, the scenes are very fast and make them seem weak as they finish them off very easily.
En el Webtoon se nos retrata a los monstruos como seres casi indestructibles, cuyo única debilidad es el fuego, Hyun les teme mucho y aún sabiéndose un infectado especial, se lo piensa cada vez que le toca hacer una misión de rescate o de búsqueda de suministros. En la serie esta parte se nos muestra en una sucesión de escenas que hacen ver la tarea como sencilla y las escenas con los monstruos (los grandes protagonistas) prácticamente pasan a segundo plano, son muy rápidas y los hace parecer débiles ya que acaban con ellos con mucha facilidad.
There were characters whose personalities were completely changed, I'm talking more precisely about Eun-yoo and Sang-wook. In the webtoon, Eun-yoo is Eun-hyuk's sister and she has a cheerful and fun personality, she always sees the bright side and even if she pranks her brother or playfully insults him from time to time, she shows that she loves him very much. In the series they made her an unbearable character that just with her first appearance, you want her to be killed by a monster and disappear from the screen (I must admit I even thought she was a new character since she is not a redhead like in the Webtoon, and also her personality sucks in the series and is far from the original) She is hateful, she mistreats her brother (who in the show is her stepbrother) even though he took care of her after their parents died, having to drop out of college and work to support her, she goes around making it harder with her crappy attitude, I hated the character in the show, even though they wanted to make her generate empathy near the end of the season, it was too late for that.
Hubo personajes a quienes les cambiaron por completo la personalidad, estoy hablando más precisamente de Eun-yoo y Sang-wook. En el Webtoon Eun-yoo es hermana de Eun-hyuk y tiene una personalidad alegre y divertida, siempre ve el lado positivo y aunque le haga bromas a su hermano o lo insulte de forma juguetona de vez en cuando, demuestra que lo quiere mucho. En la serie hicieron de ella un personaje insoportable que solo con su primera aparición, quieres que la mate un monstruo y desaparezca de la pantalla (debo admitir que incluso pensé que era un personaje nuevo dado a que no es pelirroja como en el Webtoon, y además su personalidad apesta en la serie y dista mucho de la original) Es odiosa, maltrata a su hermano (que en la serie es su hermanastro) pese a que él se encargó de ella tras la muerte de los padres de ambos, tener que tuvo que abandonar la universidad y trabajar para mantenerla, ella va por ahà haciéndolo más difÃcil con su actitud de porquerÃa, odié el personaje en la serie, aunque quisieron hacer que generara empatÃa cerca del final de la temporada, la verdad es que ya fue demasiado tarde para eso.
On the other hand, Sang-wook went from being a detective who was fired for abuse of force and mistaken by all his neighbours for a "mobster" to a real "mobster" or thug. In fact the joke with the confusion was very funny to me because Eun-yoo called him "Mr. mobster" a playful mockery between the respect "Mr" and the insult "mobster" to which our dear Sang-wook responded with "I'm not a mobster, girl" which gave us to understand that he had clarified it more than once and still the girl insisted with the nickname, in the series it loses the grace since Sang-wook is a bully.
Por otro lado, Sang-wook pasó de ser un detective al que despidieron por abuso de fuerza y a quien todos sus vecinos confundÃan con un "mafioso" a un verdadero "mafioso" o matón. De hecho el chiste con la confusión me resultaba muy graciosa porque Eun-yoo lo llamaba "señor Mafioso" una burla juguetona entre el respeto "señor" y el insulto "mafioso" a lo que nuestro querido Sang-wook respondÃa con un "Que no soy un mafioso, niña" lo que nos daba a entender que se lo habÃa aclarado más de una vez y aún asà la chica insistÃa con el apodo, en la serie pierde la gracia ya que Sang-wook si es un matón.
Sang-wook is a tough guy you shouldn't mess with, yet he communicates with the others, intimidates them because of his muscles and height but is usually polite to the others (unless they mess with him) precisely because of this, Eun-hyuk (the leader of the group) puts him in charge of the convenience store to look after and ration the food as he is the only one who commands respect and intimidates them. In the series he hardly talks to anyone, he's just like a thug or a mobster, he's rude to everyone and it's not until very late that he starts to worry and be a little gentle with others, to make matters worse, he ends up dying, something that doesn't happen in the Webtoon as he's a very important character with a lot of development. It was a very sad ending. They ruined this pair of beloved characters who could have given more.
Sang-wook es un tipo duro con el que no te debes meter, aún asÃ, se comunica con los demás, los intimida por sus músculos y altura, pero suele ser educado con los demás (a menos que se metan con él) precisamente por eso, Eun-hyuk (el lÃder del grupo) lo pone de encargado de la tienda de conveniencia para cuidar y racionar la comida, ya que es el único que impone respeto y los intimida. En la serie casi no habla con nadie, es tal cual, un matón o mafioso, es grosero con todo el mundo y no es hasta muy tarde que empieza a preocuparse y a ser un poco gentil con los demás, para más colmo, termina muriendo, cosa que no pasa en el Webtoon, ya que es un personaje muy importante y con mucho desarrollo. Fue muy triste su final. Arruinaron a este par de personajes muy queridos y que pudieron dar más.
Other characters that I thought were a waste were Eun-hyuk (leader of the group) and Hyun-soo (the main character). Let's start with the latter, Hyun felt very flat, from the beginning we see that he wants to commit suicide and we understand that he was bullied at school and that his parents justified the attack so that Hyun's father wouldn't be fired because he worked at the aggressor's father's company and that his older sister was ashamed of him. But despite the thought of suicide, he suddenly, without any reason, decides to live, which is absurd in the plot.
Otros personajes que me parecieron un desperdicio fueron Eun-hyuk (lÃder del grupo) y Hyun-soo (el protagonista) Empecemos por este último, Hyun se sintió muy plano, de entrada vemos que quiere suicidarse y someramente entendemos que le hacÃan bullying en la escuela y que sus padres justificaron el ataque para que el padre de Hyun no fuera despedido, ya que trabajaba en la empresa del padre del agresor y que su hermana mayor se avergonzaba de él. pero pese a pensar en el suicidio, de un momento a otro, sin motivos, decide vivir, lo que queda absurdo en la trama.
In the Webtoon Hyun postpones his suicide to watch a movie that he has been waiting for a long time and that already had a release date "Maria from Heaven" (which Eun-hyuk was also a fan of, that brought them closer for the final chapters) After the show and once he meets Ji-soo (who looks a lot like Maria) Hyun decides to keep postponing his suicide as he feels attracted to her even though he doesn't realise it from the beginning. As time goes by, he begins to relate to and grow fond of all the survivors, to the point that his will to live and resist the monster inside him translates into keeping alive those he now considers his friends. In the series, they started well but little by little they transformed the loneliness and bitterness of the character into shyness, he almost didn't relate to anyone and the few interactions he had with some characters was quite vague, so you didn't feel well the connection between these characters and him and in the scenes where some of them died, it made you cry the scene because you as a viewer had become attached to them and for the performance of Song Kang (Hyun) who knows well how to convey emotions, but not because between the characters there was a great nexus.
En el Webtoon Hyun pospone su suicidio para ver una pelÃcula que ha estado esperando desde hace mucho y que ya tenÃa fecha de estreno "Maria desde el cielo" (de la que Eun-hyuk también era fan, eso los acercó para los capÃtulos finales) Después de la mostrualización y una vez que conoce a Ji-soo (la cual se parece mucho a Maria) Hyun decide seguir posponiendo su suicidio ya que siente atracción hacia ella aunque no se da cuenta desde el principio. Con el paso del tiempo empieza a relacionarse con todos los supervivientes y a tomarles cariño, al punto que sus ganas de vivir y resistir al monstruo en su interior se traducen en mantener vivos a los que ahora considera sus amigos. En la serie, empezaron bien, pero poco a poco transformaron la soledad y amargura del personaje en timidez, casi ni se relacionaba con nadie y las pocas interacciones que tuvo con algunos personajes fue bastante vaga, asà que no sentÃas bien la conexión entre estos personajes y él y en las escenas donde murieron algunos de estos, te hacia llorar la escena porque tú como espectador te habÃas encariñado con ellos y por la actuación de Song Kang (Hyun) que sabe bien transmitir emociones, pero no porque entre los personajes hubiese un nexo grande.
Eun-hyuk is fine as a character, but thanks to ineffective scripting and the compression of 140 chapters into 10 episodes, he feels very flat like the others despite being very important given that in the Webtoon it is revealed to us later that he is also a special infected, He is Hyun's counterpart, and in the climax of the Webtoon, when Hyun loses control of his inner monster, Hyun sacrifices himself for the others, also sedating his monster simply so that he can stop Hyun as long as he can and let the others escape. In the series he supposedly goes back to look for Hyun who was left behind during the evacuation of the building and subsequently stays there despite the impending collapse as he does not want to put the group at risk. There is no fight against Hyun and there was no sacrifice for the others, I don't know, I didn't really like the scene.
Eun-hyuk está bien en cuanto a su personalidad, pero gracias a la ineficacia del guion y la compresión de 140 capÃtulos en 10 episodios, se siente muy plano como los demás, pese a ser muy importante dado a que en el Webtoon se nos revela después que también es un infectado especial, es la contraparte de Hyun, además en el clÃmax del Webtoon, cuando Hyun pierde el control de su monstruo interno, él se sacrifica por los demás, cediendo también a su monstruo simplemente para poder detener lo más que pueda a Hyun y que los demás escapen. En la serie se regresa supuestamente a buscar a Hyun que se quedó atrás durante la evacuación del edificio y posteriormente se queda ahÃ, pese al inminente colapso ya que no quiere poner al grupo en riesgo. No hay pelea contra Hyun y tampoco hubo sacrificio por los demás, no me generó mucho la escena a decir verdad.
Speaking of Yi-kyeong, don't get me wrong, the inclusion of new characters that are not part of the source material is not always bad, proof of that is for example Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, whose character was invented for the series, however, Daryl was not a fixed character, but thanks to people liking him, they decided to leave him until today he even has his own series, but the inclusion of Yi-kyeong is unnecessary and forced. I think they decided to put the typical empowered female character that would stand out even more than the main character, because nowadays a man can't steal the show as the main character, he always has to have a female pegoste to steal the spotlight so that feminists are happy 😒.
Hablando de Yi-kyeong, no me malentiendan, la inclusión de personajes nuevos que no forman parte del material de guÃa no siempre resulta mal, una prueba de eso es por ejemplo Daryl Dixon de The Walking Dead, cuyo personaje fue inventado para la serie, sin embargo, Daryl no serÃa un personaje fijo, pero gracias al agrado de la gente por él, decidieron dejarlo hasta que hoy dÃa incluso tiene su propia serie, pero la inclusión de Yi-kyeong es innecesaria y forzada. Creo que decidieron poner el tÃpico personaje femenino empoderado que resaltara incluso más que el protagonista, porque hoy dÃa un hombre no puede robarse el show como protagonista, siempre tiene que tener un pegoste femenino que le robe la atención para que las feministas estén felices 😒
This character doesn't contribute anything important to the plot, except to put the rest of the survivors in trouble and in their eagerness to make her look like the all powerful one, they fall into a lot of nonsense, to begin with when a whole group tries to leave in an armoured car to look for supplies, just at the entrance a monster attacks them and almost kills them all, But when she goes out alone on a motorbike, she doesn't suffer a scratch, to make matters worse, she returns during the attack to the armoured car with a fire truck and runs over the monster and finally kills it and this can only happen by the power of the script, a Deus ex Machina in all its splendour. What were the chances that she would have arrived during the attack? To top it off, she makes a deal with what in the series looks like military (but in the Webtoon are mercenaries of a company) to deliver Hyun to them and at the end of the series she joins them and leaves the survivors who are taken by the mercenaries to some unknown place, that is to say she makes a deal with the devil for her own benefit and the others to kill them or whatever.
Este personaje no aporta nada importante a la trama, salvo meter en apuros al resto de supervivientes y en su afán de hacerla ver como la todo poderosa, caen en un montón de sin sentidos, para empezar cuando un grupo entero intenta salir en un auto blindado para buscar suministros, apenas en la entrada los ataca un monstruo y casi los mata a todos, pero cuando sale ella sola en una motocicleta, no sufre ni un rasguño, para más inri, vuelve durante el taque al auto blindado con un camión de bomberos y atropella al monstruo, al final lo mata y esto solo puede pasar por el poder del guion, un Deus ex Machina en todo su esplendor ¿Qué posibilidades habÃa de que justamente ella llegara durante el ataque? Para colmo hace un trato con lo que en la serie parecen militares (pero que en el Webtoon son mercenarios de una empresa) para entregarles a Hyun, y al final de la serie se une a ellos y deja a los supervivientes a quienes llevan los mercenarios a algún lugar desconocido, es decir hace un trato con el diablo por beneficio propio y a los demás que los maten o lo que sea.
To make matters worse, in the Webtoon, in the scene of the monster attacking the armoured car, one of the characters panics and runs away, then returns with the villains (although he doesn't know at first that they are bad guys) and these guys are the ones who finish off the monster, how they wasted that scene giving unnecessary prominence to the firefighter girl, then the villains arrive at Verde Hogar (the apartment complex of our survivors) just for the sake of it and that's it. They go in an armoured car of the mercenaries (which they clearly stole) and out of nowhere they crash it against the fortified door that the survivors had made, another convenience of script because I wonder how the hell they knew that in that building there were survivors? they entered destroying the security of the place (and to top it off they don't even repair it and no monster ever enters through there), in the Webtoon it makes sense because the survivor who flees explains the situation but in the series it makes no sense whatsoever.
Para más colmo, en el Webtoon, en la escena del ataque del monstruo al carro blindado, uno de los personajes entra en pánico y huye, después vuelve con los villanos (aunque no sabe en un principio que son malos) y estos tipos son los que acaban con el monstruo, como gastaron esa escena dándole protagonismo innecesario a la chica bombero, entonces los villanos llegan a Verde Hogar (el complejo de apartamentos de nuestros supervivientes) solo porque sà y ya. Van en un auto blindado de los mercenarios (que claramente se robaron) y de la nada lo estrellan contra la puerta fortificada que habÃan hecho los supervivientes, otra conveniencia de guion porque me pregunto yo ¿Cómo rayos sabÃan que en ese edificio habÃan supervivientes? entraron destrozando la seguridad del sitio (y para colmo ni la reparan y nunca ningún monstruo entra por ahÃ), en el Webtoon tiene sentido porque el superviviente que huye le explica la situación pero en la serie no tiene nada de sentido
To cut a long story short, these villains who in the Webtoon came with a good deal of intimidation, patience, intelligence (they had a psychologist among them) and cunning were taking over the place little by little, sowing doubt among the survivors and convincing them that they need them to survive because they have a special infected that got them safely there, it is under manipulation that they achieve ground. In the series as they were in a hurry to finish the season quickly, they just put them to shoot and kill people for the sake of it, taking them hostage (a stupid situation because the survivors wouldn't cooperate with them and even worse they could reveal themselves later on, so in all practicality they came in killing everyone and took over the place) from the most logical point of view, the whole staging was unnecessary and a total nonsense.
Para no extenderme más, estos villanos que en el Webtoon llegaron con una buena parte de intimidación, paciencia, inteligencia (tenÃan entre ellos un psicólogo) y astucia fueron apoderándose del lugar poco a poco, sembrando la duda entre los supervivientes y convenciéndolos que los necesitan para sobrevivir porque tienen un infectado especial que los llevó a salvo hasta allÃ, es bajo la manipulación que logran terreno. En la serie como tenÃan prisa por terminar la temporada rápido, solo los pusieron a disparar y matar gente por que sÃ, tomándolos de rehén (una situación estúpida porque los supervivientes no cooperarÃan con ellos y peor aún podrÃan revelarse más adelante asà que de plano yéndonos a lo práctico para eso llegaban matando a todos y se quedaban con el lugar) desde el punto de vista más lógico, toda la puesta en escena fue innecesaria y un sin sentido total
The special infected of the villains in the Webtoon ends up revealing himself against them and helps the protagonists to evacuate along with Hyun. Their "boss" turns into a monster and both Hyun and the boy try to fight him, the boy is badly injured and Hyun decides to give in to his monster to get more strength and defeat the threat while the rest escape (including the other special monster) in the series is still a villain and to top it off is much more powerful than Hyun (who seems to be an ornament in the series).
El infectado especial de los villanos en el Webtoon termina revelándose contra ellos y ayuda a los protagonistas a evacuar junto con Hyun. Su "jefe" se vuelve mostruo y tanto Hyun como el chico intentan pelear contra el, el chico resulta malherido y Hyun decide ceder ante su monstruo para tener más fuerza y derrotar a la amenaza mientras el resto escapa (incluyendo el otro monstruo especial) en la serie sigue siendo villano y para colmo es mucho más poderoso que Hyun (que parece estar de adorno en la serie)
And this brings me to the end of the season with the change of personality of yet another character, in this case the special infected, we have two totally different endings, the Webtoon being very good and the series being rubbish and in the Webtoon, all the survivors flee on a zipline, except Hyun (who became a monster) and Eun-hyuk who also transforms to stop him. after this there is a time jump and we are shown the survivors in a refugee camp called Sweet Home and we see Hyun coming to them, Ji-soo runs and comes out to hug him, in the prequel ending of this story we see Hyun working for the military on some kind of mission, the point is that they all get back together (except Eun-hyuk who after his transition lost his empathy and doesn't want to have anything to do with any human) (that ending was given to the special infected in the series).
Y esto me lleva a hablar del final de temporada con el cambio de personalidad de otro personaje más, en este caso el infectado especial, tenemos dos finales totalmente diferentes, el del Webtoon siendo muy bueno y el de la serie una porquerÃa y es que en el Webtoon, todos los supervivientes huyen en una tirolesa, menos Hyun (que se hizo monstruo) y Eun-hyuk que también se transforma para detenerlo. después de esto hay un salto temporal y se nos muestra a los supervivientes en un campo de refugiados que se llama Dulce Hogar y vemos a Hyun llegando hasta ellos, Ji-soo corre y sale a abrazarlo, en el final de la precuela de esta historia se ve como Hyun trabaja para los militares en una especie de misión, el punto es que vuelven a estar juntos todos (menos Eun-hyuk que tras su transición perdió la empatÃa y no quiere tener que ver con ningún humano) (ese final se lo dieron al infectado especial de la serie)

Carnby Kim is a great writer and I feel they didn't capture his essence at all to tell a good story, the ending left me with little desire to watch the next season as everything will be made up for the series and that took away my enthusiasm.
En la serie los personajes escapan por un túnel (más realista, estuvo bien) pasa lo que les relaté arriba y cuando Hyun sale a la calle, lo balean los militares, después lo vemos en un auto y al ""mafioso" que le saluda, pero es realmente el infectado especial que tomó la forma de Sang-wook. El final queda abierto y es bastante confuso si no pones atención y digo yo, ¿no era mejor tomar los 140 episodios de la serie y distribuirlos en 3 o 4 temporadas? ¿tan difÃcil era seguir al pie de la letra los episodios del Webtton? Carnby Kim es un gran escritor y siento que en lo absoluto capturaron su esencia para contar una buena historia, el final me dejó con pocas ganas de ver la siguiente temporada ya que todo será inventado para la serie y eso me quitó el entusiasmo.
I can't say that the series is bad, but it's not good either, it's average and this taking it as a standalone series but taking into account that it's really the adaptation of a Webtoon, they failed in this, honestly.
No puedo decir que la serie sea mala, pero tampoco es buena, es promedio y esto tomándola como una serie independiente pero tomando en cuenta que realmente es la adaptación e un Webtoon, fracasaron en esto, honestamente

La verdad no es una mala serie pasa que como me leà el webtoon (que es mucho mejor) tengo esa sensación de inconformidad 🤣 pero si estuvo buena en varios aspectos
