Husband's first movie-watching experince at the cinema

Last August 18 was my husband's 31st birthday. He asked me if he could experience watching a movie at the cinema. A few days before his birthday, he got his salary and asked me if he could celebrate his birthday in advance. I was happy to hear this and agreed to take him to the movies.

He was excited because it was his first time watching a movie in a cinema. We went to the city early at around 9 a.m. I told him that it was too early because the cinema did not open until 11 a.m.

Arriving at the mall too early, we decided to have an early lunch. We went to Mang Inasal and ordered our food. My husband, who is not used to ordering food, was hesitant at first but eventually ordered PM2 unlimited rice for himself and PM1 for me without unlimited rice. We waited for a few minutes before our orders were served.

After having our early lunch we decided to wander around the mall since we had some time to kill before the cinema opened.

My husband attempted to strum the guitar in the mall. I'm honestly not sure if he knows how to play the guitar.

The cinema opened after a brief wait. When we entered, we were the only two people there. We took a few pictures and waited a few minutes for the movie to start.

My husband was astonished by the deafening sounds when the movie began. It was a sequel to the movie The MEG2, which was about a giant shark. The movie was exciting and suspenseful. We both enjoyed it.

After watching the movie, I asked him how he enjoyed his first movie experience. He said it was great and he appreciated me accompanying him. He said he had never been to a movie theater before and he was really impressed by the big screen and the sound system. I was happy that he enjoyed himself and I was glad that I could share the experience with him, and I was glad that I made his birthday special.
How about you guys how old were you when you first watched a movie at the cinema?

That's all for today's blog. Have a great day everyone. Thank you for dropping by.

I was probably too young to remember when I first went to the movies. I do remember going many times when I was in grade school. Growing up in my twenties I went all the time. Now I haven't been in many years.

Looks like a good going out time Alice. Glad you both a good time out :)

Well as for my experience I first watch a movie in a cinema when I was in high school and I was with my aunt and her kids.. We were sitting at the front and I really felt dizzy or I had a headache after watching a movie.

The first time I remember trying a particular candy bar for the first time. That candy bar? Mr. Goodbar still remains one of my favorite. Also the movie popcorn 🍿 just taste different at the theater 😁

Hmmm what Makes the popcorn taste different? Lol

Maybe because its popped in a machine and butter and salt are added during that process
