CineTV Contest: 21& Over: A Elegant Friendship Movie.
Hello CineTV and every beautiful member. This contest about best friends made me remember my high school days when my best friend and I do things together, go to class together and even gossip together. Best friends gossip a lot and my best friend and I are one of them. For over twenty years now, she still remains by best friend.
Well, it’s been a longtime since we saw each other due to distance but thinking about her makes me remember a movie which we watched together. A movie about best friends. What a coincidence!
Here is a movie that even prompted us more to carry out more of our criminal behaviors as best of friends. This movie is titled 21& Over
Plot of the movie
Jeff, who’s having a medical school interview decides to go out for a drink with his friends Casey and Miller to celebrate his 21st birthday party.
While having fun with his friends, Jeff mistakenly hits a guy with a dart and flees with his two friends. Jeff was intoxicated by alcohol so he couldn’t say where he lives and no other person knows his house.
The only person who came to the minds of Casey and Miller was Nicole, Jeff’s attractive friend. The two boys carried Jeff and enters a house where they thought Nicole lives but they found out that it was a Latino house. Miller requests to make out with a lady and that got the whole house angry and they landed into more trouble.
They kept getting into more troubles and Jeff landed into the campus health center while Casey and Miller were abducted by the Latino girls and at the end, Jeff finally got home but on getting there, Randy, the guy whom he mistakenly injures at the bar got there as well. That led to a fight between Randy and Jeff’s father.
At last, they were all good. Casey, Miller and Jeff were together again as good friends and Casey and Nicole fell in love with each other.
What I loved about the movie
It shows real friendship. Have you ever gotten into trouble with your best friends? That’s it. This doesn’t mean that I am encouraging people commit atrocities with their best friends but as best friends, they should be your ride or die and if one gets in trouble, you all must be in trouble together.
Literally, Jeff was the only one in trouble but he was drunk and his best friends wanted to help which landed them into trouble. That’s what ride or die means. If you’re happy, you gotta be happy together. If you get in trouble, you all must be in it together.
How it influenced me and my best friend
Would you believe that my best friend and I were laughing while watching this movie? We know what we are capable of doing. We know we can be as crazy as the trio in the movie.
I’m still wondering why best friends comming atrocities together. This takes me back to a day when I got drunk and my best friend made a video of me. You all need to see my expression when I saw the video. Was that really me? She still has the video till now and when I get her angry, she posts it up online. What an annoying best friend!
Any scene that still pops into my mind?
The scene where Jeff threw the dart at Randy. That’s really scary. They were just so smart to flee. Many times, people end up having a big fight at the bar and they end up destroying things.
At first, I was thinking about what will happen. Looking at Jeff, he looked very little beside Randy and if they were to get into a fight, I’m sure Randy will beat him up.
Why do I think this movie is great
I just feel like it tells you to choose your best friends wisely. I know it’s for fun and has a bit of comedy but if you keep choosing friends who will put you into trouble, you will get into trouble too and if you choose peaceful people as your best friends, you’ll be at peace with yourself.
This movie is a masterpiece and I want you all to watch it. I’m a best friend freak and I will rate this movie 9/10.
