Sincerely if I be in a position to either do a bridal shower or a bachelorette party, I'd pick the bridal shower cuz I've seen the dangers of having crazy friends party with you one last time before you officially tie the knot with your babe 💏💕

And to my Miami residents, one quick question from my observation. Can anyone, just about anybody, come knock on your door disguised as a cop and you let them in? Without allowing you a minute to properly check the authenticity of their badges? Really?

Quick review

Jess, a vibrant young lady who aims to be the state senator of her city had her first bestie Alice, plan a get-together/bachelorette party in Miami with her other crazy besties. Frankie orders a male stripper/prostitute but a thief comes instead.

Horny Alice mistakenly jumps on the sitted stripper and kills him as he looses his balance and falls of the chair; the drama then began.

Lead characters

Scarlett Johansson who starred as Jess wowed me with her skills even though I've only known her to be a stunt actress. My first encounter with her was in the movie Lucy and she was absolutely amazing in that movie.

All Jess wanted was a fun-filled yet responsible bachelorette party with her friends and in turn, a quite wedding with the man she loved, Peter. But she was caught up in a situation and faced with the task of helping her friends who were held hostage in their own house by the other accomplice of the dead "supposed stripper"

I've always known her to be a "perfect actress" and I really admire that feature of hers. She gives her all in any role she finds herself playing, serving a great deal of entertainment and energy.

Cinematography: Light, positions, action

OK big ups to the crew members of this movie, I was well entertained. The lighting was clean and clear, good cameras and positioning. Choice of environment used is a very "big yes" for me; bright and lovely views.

Miami has always had this thing on me with their tourist attraction feature lol. The choice of houses, bar, club and mart were all good; almost too good... 😌
And there again, movies with a touch of stunting action always get the best of me.

Logical, even in real life issues, one can't have a perfect life, a life without a little fight, a little action and thrill. So once more, a pass ☑ for the entertainment well dished out. 👏

Best scenes

I love happy endings and even more, I love to see Jess in action. The movie in a nut shell was a banger but my very best scene was the hostage part down to the wedding scene.

We all must have felt overwhelmed at a point in time which could have led to saying shocking and sad truths to a loved one(s) or a besties. But realizing you hurt them with such statements and apologizing afterwards is the sweetest feeling ever.

That was the case of Jess and Alice but apologizes were shared between the two ladies after Jess read the letter from Alice.
The wedding part? I like partying even though I don't attend them much lol but wedding ceremonies are always be my best movie-scene picks

Awkward/Funny moments

The goddamned body kept showing up whenever the ladies tried to rid it 😂. This could have cause a psychological toll on the ladies if it hadn't been a movie.

At first they tried to hide it behind the couches but the glass house didn't help out with that and don't get me started with the dog bite Pippa got while trying to lure away the backing dog lol.

Then off to the beach, the body was dumped but washed ashore after Blaire had hot crazy moments with the neighbors who had a security camera hung outside but she discovered the camera wasn't at all recording anything due to the bills it attracted, said the neighbors 😂.

Pros or Cons

To me, I feel drugs are not paramount if you want to have a good time. There are other fun things to do during a bachelorette party rather than sniff or inhale substances. So the drugs scenes are a "strikeout" for me.

Verdict: Watch or Pass?

Watch because Rough Night is a good movie and if you read in between the lines, you'll find a lesson or two there.
