Getting to know the new Multiplex 🎬🍿|📍Parque Alegra Shopping Center. [ESP-ENG]

Something I really enjoy are the quiet plans, so when the weekend comes my favorite plans are to visit new restaurants, new places, take Zoe for a walk or in this case go to the movies.

Hello friends, happy weekend! I hope you are enjoying these days, on this side we are doing quite well. As I mentioned at the beginning, yesterday we decided with my partner to go to know the multiplex of Cine Colombia, in Barranquilla only two malls have this multiplex; one is the Buenavista and the other the Parque Alegra, the latter being the newest mall in the city, but to be honest we had not had the opportunity to know it at all because it is quite large to go around.

The decision to go to the movies came about thanks to my mother-in-law who very kindly gave us a gift of movie vouchers last year which contained two tickets and two tickets for a combo of crispetas + soda. Although the vouchers had an expiration date until April of this year, we really wanted to do something different and distract our minds a little bit, so we decided to make use of the gift.

We went to the mall where the first thing we did was to go to the movie theater to see what shows were available, we ended up choosing the 9:20pm show for the movie Sobrevivientes, once we exchanged the vouchers we got our tickets and all we had to do was wait for the show time. While we were waiting we decided to have dinner since we still had about 2 and a half hours to spare, I bought a frisnack combo at Frisby which consisted of breaded chicken strips with french fries and soda. On the other hand, Fer decided to have a salchipapa at another food place.

We had enough time to walk around and get to know the whole mall, even taste a delicious ice cream which I bought at my favorite restaurant Crepes & Waffles. Once near the time of the show we decided to approach the cinema again and so we had time to know it a little better, I must say that this cinema is too big, I think that among all the cinemas in the city this is the largest and even has an area with express box office where you can buy tickets without standing in long lines which I have not seen in other cinemas, so far.

Inside the movie theater we also found a stand of my favorite coffee shop Juan Valdez, some tables where you can sit, the confectionery area where there is a new option to buy sushi and of course, the self-service section where you fill the drinks once purchased, as we were still quite full from dinner, we decided to keep the candy vouchers and so we use them another time. Once we entered the theater area we realized that the movie theater has a mega theater apart from the conventional rooms, their respective bathrooms for both adults and children, the rooms are quite spacious, have a small area where you can dispose of waste, the chairs are quite comfortable, the wide screen worthy of any good movie theater and not to mention the air conditioning which cooled quite a bit.

The truth is that we loved the movie and the cinema, even more. It would be amazing if they would put other places like the cafeteria inside their facilities, since there can be variety and they still have space available (it's that big). It was definitely a great idea to visit it, I thought it was super nice and you can tell that they have it very well taken care of, from now on I think we will visit this movie theater more often. Algo que disfruto mucho son los planes tranquilos, por eso cuando llega el fin de semana mis planes favoritos son conocer nuevos restaurantes, nuevos lugares, llevar a Zoe a pasear o en este caso ir al cine.

Hola amigos, feliz fin de semana! Espero que estén disfrutando de estos días, por este lado estamos bastante bien. Como les comentaba al inicio, el día de ayer hemos decidido junto a mi pareja ir a conocer el multiplex de Cine Colombia, en Barranquilla solo dos centros comerciales cuentan con este multiplex; uno es el Buenavista y otro el Parque Alegra, siendo este último el centro comercial más nuevo que tiene la ciudad, pero para serles sincera no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de conocerlo del todo ya que es bastante amplio para recorrer.

La decisión de ir al cine surgió gracias a mi suegra quien muy amablemente el año pasado nos hizo un regalo de unos bonos para ir a cine el cual contenía dos entradas y dos boletos para combo de crispetas + gaseosa. Aunque los bonos tenían fecha de vencimiento hasta Abril de este año, la verdad queríamos hacer algo diferente y distraer un poquito la mente así que decidimos hacer uso del regalo.

Fuimos al centro comercial donde lo primero fue acercarnos al cine para ver que funciones estaban disponibles, terminamos escogiendo función de las 9:20pm para la pelicula Sobrevivientes, una vez cambiados los bonos nos dieron nuestras entradas y solo quedaba esperar la hora de la función. Mientras esperábamos decidimos cenar ya que todavía teníamos unas 2 horas y media libres, por mi parte compré un combo frisnack en Frisby el cual consistía de tiras de pollo apanadas con papitas fritas y gaseosa. Por otra parte, Fer decidió comer una salchipapa en otro local de comidas.

Tuvimos bastante tiempo para caminar y conocer todo el centro comercial, hasta degustar de un rico helado el cual compré en mi restaurante favorito Crepes & Waffles. Una vez cerca la hora de la función decidimos acercarnos al cine nuevamente y así tuvimos tiempo de conocerlo un poco mejor, debo decir que este cine es demasiado grande, creo que entre todos los cines de la ciudad este es el más grande y hasta tiene un zona con taquilla express donde puedes comprar las boletas sin hacer largas filas cosa que no he visto en otros cines, hasta el momento.

Dentro del cine también encontramos un puesto de mi cafetería favorita Juan Valdez, algunas mesas donde puedes sentarte, la zona de la confitería donde hay nueva opción de comprar sushi y por supuesto, la sección de autoservicio donde llenas las bebidas una vez compradas, como aún estábamos bastante llenos por la cena, decidimos guardar los bonos de los dulces y así les damos uso en otro momento. Una vez entramos a la zona de las salas nos dimos cuenta con que el cine cuenta con una mega sala a parte de las salas convencionales, sus respectivos baños tanto para adultos como para niños, las salas son bastante amplias, tienen una pequeña zona donde puedes desechar los residuos, las sillas son bastante cómodas, la pantalla amplia digna de cualquier buen cine y ni hablar del aire acondicionado el cual enfriaba bastante.

La verdad la pelicula nos encantó y el cine, aún más. Sería increíble si pusieran otros locales como la cafetería dentro de sus instalaciones ya que así puede haber variedad y aún tienen espacio disponible (así de grande es) Sin duda fue una gran idea ir a conocerlo, me pareció super lindo y se nota que lo tienen muy bien cuidado, de ahora en más creo que este cine lo visitaremos más seguido.
