Hunger (2023) Revisión/Opinión: Ambición reflejada en la comida

¡Hola Comunidad de Hive! Hoy les quisiera comentar sobre un film que me encanto en lo absoluto ya que se trata
de la comida y todo lo que lleva sobre el, asi conocemos a Hunger, una película que se basa sobre la ambición de un chef, su comida y el espectáculo que se quiere dar para el cliente que pago por el servicio. Ven que esto tiene mucho mas que solo cocinar en cocina.
Todo comienza cuando vemos a Aoy, nuestra protagonista de este film, siendo ls cocinera de un negocio familiar en donde se basa en preparar fideos, en el cual su receta original son los fideos llorones, una receta familiar que empezó desde su abuela.
Un desconocido ve el talento de Aoy, en el cual le da una carta invitación para entrar a Hunger, si, ese desconocido trabajaba ahi por lo que estaba buscando nuevos talentos para trabajar en este servicio.
Para los que no saben este contexto: Hunger es un grupo de cocineros junto al chef paul, en el cual se trata de darles un servicio para cualquier evento, en el cual se basa de cocinar comida extremadamente exquisita con un espectáculo espectacular. El chef paul como dije, comanda a todo su equipo siendo el cabezal, en presionar, corregir e sofocar, no quiere nada malo, todo a como su sazón. En estos servicio son muy extraños ya que juegan con lo extravagante y ambicioso, por lo que lo que llaman a este servicio son personas con mucho dinero solo a ver un espectáculo y disfrutar de la comida, en el cual suele ser molecular.
Volviendo a la historia, Aoy y un chico nuevo son los candidatos para trabajar en donde el chef para darles una prueba solo le pides una sola cosa y es preparar un arroz frito, en el cual van a prepararla. Cuando los dos terminaron su plato con preparaciones y decoración diferente, Eoli gana por su técnica con el wok y por saber utilizar los ingredientes ya cocinados, en el caso fue el arroz ya cocido de un día anterior. Ella entra y el otro se va.
Asi paso como ella entra pero las pruebas no solo quedan aquí. Al día siguiente en una noche, pide el chef que haga un corte super fino de un corte de carne para luego ser asado en un wok sin que se pegue, se seque o que quede crudo, una cocción perfecta que el pedía para que Aoy preparaba. Era muy difícil ya que le costaba tener un corte bien fino sin que se rasgara o se dañará, le costó tanto que cuando paso al momento de cocción el chef la hizo repetir varias veces pero no lo consiguió, el chef propuso que si no lo consigue, cambiaba el menú.
Ella para no dejarse ganar de la presión y tristeza, decidió practicar a horas de la madrugada por lo que al final cuando se intentó hacer la prueba, lo consiguió y se pudo dar el evento esperado.
De aquí en adelante se disputa varios eventos en la cuales son contratados por mas que todo gente de mucho dinero y con ambiciones y caprichos, en donde desean ver mas el espectáculo que la comida. De aqui todo bien hasta que se llega a dos eventos que dejaron marcados en el cual lo hace ver muy impactante, para no alargar la primera fue una familia de pocos recursos que entrando en contexto pagaron el servicio por una cena sencilla, en la cual paso algo que en la sopa se le agregó camaron, en el cual la niña de esa familia es alérgica mortalmente, poco después se ve en las noticias que se habían asesinados todos a manos del padre de la familia incluyendo se.
Y la otra sería lo que iba a cambiar todo, y fue el matar un animal en el cual en la región donde estaban era ilegal ya que es un patrimonio, en donde nuestra protagonista se retira ya que no soportaría eso, por lo que se aleja de todo para el tiempo después es contratada por otro nuevo servicio en el cual ella iba ser la chef profesional, una vez estándo ahi empezó a desarrollar su carácter y conocimiento, buscando su sazón y siempre corrigiendo a su equipo, hasta que llega una noche en donde hay una batalla de muestras de comida entre los dos servicios: "Hunger vs y el grupo donde estaba Aoy.
Cada uno dio su presentación que como digo una se basa en presentar el plato y el otro le da un espectáculo, haciendo escenas como si estuvieran muertos del hambre comiendo algún sacrificio para saciar en donde lo hacía muy tétrico pero a la vez artístico. Pero todo se detuvo al llegar dos funcionarios a detener al chef por cometer un error muy grande en el cual se llegó un vídeo en donde se le ve matando al animal que era ilegal en el país por lo que cayo en toda su desgracia por ese acto, al final todo fue un plan para impulsar a Aoy a ser la número uno pero ella no quería eso, asi que solo se va y vuelve a donde fue feliz desde un principio, a casa.
Una película en donde se puede ver el nivel de ambición en la gastronomías por ciertos chef que busca mas de lo normal, en donde no solo es servir y comer si no se puede ver el espectáculo y la ignorancia de la gente que presta estos servicios de comida, en dónde refleja la necesidad de comida en la mayoría de la persona y el otro en donde estas solo desean gastar en algo caro para solo disfrutar de que te estas comiendo algo que Jamás nadie podrá por la cantidad de dinero y la dificultad de buscarlos. Asi como el ejemplo de esas piedras negras en el pan, no sabían a nada exqusito solo eran caros y eso importaba, por eso la gastronomía es lo mas bonito y triste, porque se trabaja por cosas nuevas en donde se empeña nuestro arte en el plato pero a un límite que siempre se rebasa sin importar leyes o derechos.

In these services they are very strange since they play with the extravagant and ambitious, so what they call this service are people with a lot of money just to see a show and enjoy the food, which is usually molecular.
Going back to the story, Aoy and a new boy are the candidates to work where the chef to give them a test you only ask for one thing and that is to prepare a fried rice, in which they are going to prepare it. From here everything is fine until you get to two events that left marks in which it makes it look very impressive, not to lengthen the first one was a family with few resources that, entering into context, paid for the service for a simple dinner, in which I spent something that shrimp was added to the soup, to which the girl in that family is fatally allergic, shortly after it was seen on the news that they had all been murdered at the hands of the father of the family, including himself.
And the other would be what was going to change everything, and it was killing an animal in which in the region where they were, it was illegal since it is a patrimony, where our protagonist retires since she would not support that, so she moves away After all, she was hired by another new service in which she was going to be the professional chef. Once there, she began to develop her character and knowledge, looking for her seasoning and always correcting her team, until one night she arrives in where there is a battle of food samples between the two services: "Hunger vs and the group where Aoy was.
Each one gave their presentation which, as I said, one is based on presenting the dish and the other gives it a show, making scenes as if they were starving to death eating some sacrifice to satiate where it made it very gloomy but at the same time artistic. But everything stopped when two officials arrived to arrest the chef for making a very big mistake in which a video was released where he was seen killing the animal that was illegal in the country, so he fell into all his disgrace for that act. In the end it was all a plan to push Aoy to be number one but she didn't want that, so she just leaves and returns to where she was happy from the beginning, home.
A film where you can see the level of ambition in gastronomy by certain chefs who seek more than normal, where it is not only serving and eating if you cannot see the show and the ignorance of the people who provide these services food, where it reflects the need for food in most of the person and the other where you just want to spend on something expensive to just enjoy that you are eating something that no one will ever be able to due to the amount of money and the difficulty of looking for it . Just like the example of those black stones in the bread, they did not taste of anything exquisite, they were only expensive and that mattered, that is why gastronomy is the most beautiful and sad thing, because you work for new things where our art is committed to the plate but to a limit that is always exceeded regardless of laws or rights.

Vi esta película, me gustó la forma en la que exponen la personalidad de sus comensales a través de cada platillo.
Las diferencias de las clases sociales y sus permisos para hacer lo que quieran, mientras los de baja clase deben hasta robar en la cocina para poder comer algo parecido.
Una buena trama, me gustó el personaje del hermano de Aoy, un creador de contenido.
Es una película de pura enseñanza de ver como a través de la cocina se puede mover el mundo pasando encima de cualquiera pero con sutileza. Es un gran Film.
Fue una película que me dejó sumamente impactado sobre todo por el realismo y la crudeza que se vive en el mundo de la cocina en cuanto a la competencia por lograr ser el mejor.
Exacto, es la cocina y los chef mayores luchan por no bajar su reputación y siempre intentan hacer mas allá para lograr inmortalizar su legado.

Sabes en qué plataforma pueda estar? Se ve muy buena, esa mentalidad de ambición y la competencia que hay entre ambos me parece interesante. El mundo de la cocina es increíble, siempre hay espacio para crear algo nuevo y llamativo.

Saludos amigo, tuve la oportunidad de ver esta película y de verdad que me gusto mucho como se desarrolla y abarca el tema de la comida y la rivalidad que se presenta en ese mundo y sobre todo en las clases sociales a la hora de la comida y dinero. Más allá de eso una historia muy motivadora, cargada de excelente mensajes, puesto que para llegar a la cima se necesita esfuerzo, dedicación y no estar comparándose con los demás y luchas hasta el último segundo. Puesto que se cocina con amor y ofreciendo platos de calidad. Genial que hayas disfrutado d esta producción tailandesa.
