Hello Hive friends, hope you’re all doing well. I just got back from watching Raid 2 in the cinema, and I had to share my thoughts right away. If you’ve seen the first Raid movie with Ajay Devgn, you already know it was intense. But this second part takes the whole story to another level—more action, more twists, and way more pressure.

The movie begins in Rajasthan, where Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) is now posted. He’s still the same no-nonsense officer, but this time, the enemies are even more dangerous.

This is not just about raiding one corrupt person as the case used to be, he finds himself chasing down an entire network that includes politicians, businessmen, and even people inside his own department. That part really shocked me—there’s a mole feeding the criminals information!

Ajay Devgn completely owns the role again. He doesn’t overact—his silence, his stare, and his calm voice say everything. The balancing of his professional challenges with his personal life is something i really loved about the movie. The weight of his job and how it affects his family is something you can feel.

One of the biggest highlights was the raid scene itself. It was longer and more complicated than the first film, and every time they uncovered hidden money, you could hear the audience react.

The tension keeps rising, It became worse when the team realizes they might be walking into a trap.

Riteish Deshmukh plays the villain this time, and I was honestly impressed. He’s not loud or over-the-top—he’s quiet, clever, and dangerous. His scenes with Ajay are full of tension, like a chess match where each move counts.

The movie is over two hours, but it didn’t feel long at all. The pacing was tight, and every scene had a purpose. The display of some parts of Jaipur and Udaipur—the visuals were stunning, and the background music made everything more intense is also something i really loved.

I watched Raid 2 during the release weekend, and the atmosphere in the cinema was electric. People clapped during the raids and gasped during the big twist near the end. That twist was so unexpected that I honestly want to rewatch it just to catch all the clues I missed.

If you enjoyed the first film, don’t miss this one. And if you haven’t seen the first Raid, I’d recommend starting there so you can fully appreciate how far Amay’s character has come.

I promise you , you will definitely not regret it.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you’ve seen it or plan to. I’d love to hear your take on that ending.
