I actaully got bored again , and i decided to re watch Top Gun Maverick recently and, to be honest , it was one of those films that keeps you looking to the screen from start to finish. Joseph Kosinski is the main director, it’s a sequel to the 1986 classic, but you can still enjoy it even if you haven’t seen the first one.

Very intense action was blended very well with a an actual emotional story.

Tom Cruise returns as Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a Navy pilot who never quite settled into the usual career path. He’s been avoiding promotions for years just so he can stay in the air. Early on as was seen , he’s sent back to the Top Gun program, but this time, it was different , surviving a nearly impossible mission was the lesson he was teaching a new set of young pilots how to .

One of those trainees is Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, played by Miles Teller. He’s the son of Maverick’s late friend, Goose, and the tension between them is thick.

So many history are left unspoken , the film really spent a lot of time peeling those layers and at the same time maintaining the momentum as the trains for a mission.

The flying scenes are a huge highlight. i could tell that the jets they used for those scenes was so real.

The way the camera moves with the planes, the roar of the engines, the sharp turns that make your stomach stay so tight is very incredible. The sound and music only crank up that adrenaline rush, especially during the final mission sequence.

But it’s not all action. The film moves on themes like redemption, trust, and letting go of the past. Maverick has to face old regrets and learn to rely on others. The quieter moments between him and Rooster carry real weight.

Tom Cruise brings his usual energy but also a softer side here, while Miles Teller captures that mix of anger and respect perfectly. Jennifer Connelly, rounds things out nicely perfectly too

Overall, Top Gun: Maverick isn’t just a a movie , it is a movie with great charater and attitude.

The movie is very exciting , worth your time no matter what your type of movie is.
