When I saw the ad on one of my favorite apps, Netflix, I hesitated a bit before deciding to watch it. The reason? Because I saw a beautiful dog on the cover and that indicated to me that, surely, there would be some drama, tenderness, a few tears but also laughter. So I said to myself, "you know this is one of your favorite themes, the ones with a cute dog as the protagonist"; then I got excited and hit Play on my TV and got ready to enjoy my movie, called My Friend Enzo.

And since I started watching it, I got hooked, initially because the protagonist, as I had guessed, was a cute dog named Enzo, but what gave the whole plot personality was that Enzo was given a voice, as he himself told his story from the moment his owner adopted him until the end of the movie. That detail made the whole story stand out a lot, and also gave it a fun touch in several scenes, as Enzo was a dog with a lot of personality, and honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had actually done everything he did in the movie.

Well, Enzo shone in some scenes; sometimes I wonder how directors manage to make animals perform certain scenes, and in this movie, this was what stood out the most. At first, Enzo's owner, a race car driver on the rise to fame, decided to adopt him to have some company. That was the idea, but over the years, after getting married and starting a family, Enzo recounted everything those changes meant for him, his owner, and everyone around them.

Soon, the whole family faced quite difficult situations, where Enzo played several very important roles among them, that of faithful company, the loyal companion at all times, the source of fun and stress relief for everyone, the protector above all, with everyone in the family, he played a role and everyone loved him and he loved them. While watching certain scenes, it reminded me of one of my loyal dogs, in his humility, intelligence, and wisdom, as he knew what to do when needed, just like Enzo. That made me nostalgic, and that was another great point in its favor.

By the time the dramatic scenes arrived, Enzo already had me in his hand or, rather, in his paws. Ha, ha, ha. His family went thru terrible moments, where they were always accompanied by the faithful Enzo in every scene, I felt by the side of that noble animal; but also with every occurrence of his, I lived thru every smile, every joy, every tear of the protagonists, and as the story progressed and Enzo aged, telling his own story, I couldn't help but keep remembering that faithful friend I had in my childhood.

So if you want to watch a fun movie, with its dramatic touch, like all the stories and experiences we live in real life, I recommend watching it with your family, as it is suitable for all audiences, young and old. Cuando vi el anuncio en una de mis aplicaciones favoritas, Netflix, dudé un poco, para disponerme a verla, ¿la razón? Porque vi a un hermoso perro en la carátula y eso me indicó que, seguramente, vendría algo de drama, ternura, algunas lágrimas pero también risas. Así que me dije: "sabes que es una de las temáticas preferidas tuyas, las que tienen como protagonista un lindo perrito"; entonces me animé y le di Play a mi TV y me dispuse a disfrutar mi película, llamada Mi Amigo Enzo.

Y desde que empecé a verla, me engancho, en un inicio porque el protagonista como había adivinado, era un lindo perro llamado Enzo, pero lo que más le dio personalidad a toda la trama fue que a Enzo le dieron voz, pues el mismo contó su historia desde que su dueño lo adopto, hasta el final de la película, ese detalle hizo que destacara mucho, toda la historia y también que en varias escenas le dio ese toque divertido, pues Enzo era un perro con mucha personalidad y la verdad no me hubiese asombrado que en serio hubiese hecho todo lo que hizo en la película.

Pues Enzo se lució en algunas escenas, a veces me pregunto cómo harán los directores para que los animales hagan ciertas escenas y en esta película, esto fue lo que más destacó. En un inicio, el dueño de Enzo un corredor de autos en proceso de la fama, decidió adoptarlo para así tener compañía. Esa fue la idea, pero con el paso de los años, luego al casarse y formar una familia, Enzo fue relatando todo lo que esos cambios fueron significando para él, su dueño y todo su entorno.

Pronto, toda la familia manejo situaciones bastante difíciles, donde Enzo tuvo varios papeles bien importantes entre ellos, el de la fiel compañía, el fiel compañero en todo momento, el de la diversión y de antiestrés para todos, el protector sobre todo, con todos en la familia, fungió un papel y todos le amaban y él a ellos. Mientras miraba ciertas escenas, me recordaba a uno de mis fieles perros, en su humildad, en lo inteligente y sabio, pues sabía qué hacer cuando se necesitaba, al igual que Enzo. Eso me llevó a la nostalgia y ese fue otro gran punto a su favor.

Para cuando llegaron las escenas dramáticas, ya Enzo me tenía en su mano o, mejor dicho, en sus patas. Ja, ja, ja. Su familia pasó momentos terribles, donde siempre estuvieron acompañados por el fiel Enzo en cada escena, me sentía al lado de aquel noble animal; pero también ante cada ocurrencia de él, me viví cada sonrisa, cada alegría, cada lágrima de los protagonistas y a medida que esta fue avanzando y Enzo fue envejeciendo, contando su propia historia no pude menos que seguir recordando aquel fiel amigo que tuve en mi infancia.

Así es que si quieres ver una película divertida, con su toque dramático, como todas las historias y vivencias que en la vida real vivimos, la recomiendo para que la veas en familia, ya que es idónea para todo público, grandes y chicos, así es que están invitados a verla y luego me cuentan como les fue, no se arrepentirán. ¡Saludos!
