A few days ago, while browsing through my movie apps, specifically on Netflix, I came across this movie called Caramelo. From the outset, I guessed from the cover that one of the main characters would obviously be that adorable little dog that appears with the boy, and I was right. So, on that basis, I set out to watch this movie, ready to enjoy a good story, and I wasn't disappointed.

Another thing that attracted me to this movie was that the dog reminded me of my pet when I was a child, named Secretario, because he is exactly the same, same color, no known breed, just a street dog. That's also why I wanted to see it, and as I suspected, it starts on the street, as the dog lived there until he met the young chef, who rescued him from a life of theft, survival, but also mischief. Watching that whole process was a lot of fun, because from the moment the boy tried to name him, the dog participated in choosing it, as when he heard Caramelo, he seemed to nod in agreement. I loved that scene.

Besides, the name suited him in every way, because of his color and also because of his personality, which turned out to be very funny, noble, and uniquely loyal. As the scenes unfolded, he reminded me a lot of my Secretary, because this dog acted in very similar ways, especially in terms of his nobility, loyalty, and intelligence. In many scenes, seeing these similarities brought a lump to my throat, because Caramelo was part of the life process of the protagonist of this film.

When he finds out he has cancer, he begins to experience all the changes that treatments for this disease bring to patients, and Caramelo is by his side, accompanying him and brightening his days with his mischief and affection. Watching this film, I couldn't help but think about the importance of these four-legged angels who accompany us in our daily lives, and this includes not only dogs but also cats, which are the most common pets in homes and which, in their own way, make our lives more bearable.

Just as depicted in this film, Caramelo supported his owner almost until the end of his own life, enriching his days and his home. He made a difference in how his owner saw the world, helping him to move forward and enjoy each day as if it were his last. His owner learned to love him from the very beginning, despite his crazy antics, because he really was terrible, but little by little he began to behave like a dog in his own home, ha ha ha.

This film is full of all the nuances of feelings and emotions. It has a climactic moment near the end where Caramelo saves his owner from a terrible accident. At that moment, everyone who sees it tenses up. It was one of my favorite scenes. Without a doubt, this film is not to be missed, so if you want to see something family-friendly and fun, run to see Caramelo. Cheers!

En días pasados revisando mis aplicaciones de películas, específicamente en Netflix, me encontré con esta película llamada Caramelo. De entrada, intuí por su portada que, obviamente, uno de los protagonistas iba a ser, ese adorable perrito que sale con el chico y no me equivoque. Así que bajo esa premisa, me dispuse a ver esta película, con la mejor disposición de disfrutar una buena historia y no me equivoque.

Otra cosa que hizo que me atrajera de esta película, fue que el perro me recordó a mi mascota de niña, llamado Secretario, pues es igualito, mismo color, sin una raza conocida, solo la de la calle, también por eso quise verla y todo como supuse inicia en la calle, pues el perro vivía en ella, hasta que conoció al joven chef, que le rescato de una vida de robos, supervivencia, pero también de travesuras. Ver todo ese proceso, fue muy divertido, pues este perro, desde el inicio en que el chico intentó ponerle un nombre, él participó para escogerlo, ya que al oír Caramelo, pareciera que asentía complacido. Esa escena me encantó.

Aparte, el nombre le iba en todos los sentidos, por su color y también por su personalidad, que al final resultó ser muy divertida, noble y de una lealtad única. A medida que iba transcurriendo las escenas entre una y otra, me recordaba mucho a mi Secretario, porque, este perro actuaba de formas muy parecidas sobre todo en lo que tiene que ver a su nobleza, lealtad e inteligencia, en muchas escenas hizo que se me hiciera un nudo en la garganta, al ver esas similitudes, porque Caramelo fue parte del proceso de vida del protagonista de esta cinta.

Quien, al enterarse de que padecía cáncer, empieza a vivir todos los cambios que los tratamientos por esta enfermedad les dan a los pacientes y Caramelo junto a él, acompañándole y poniéndole color a sus días con sus travesuras y su cariño. Al ver esta película, no pude menos que pensar en la importancia de estos ángeles de cuatro patas, que nos acompañan en nuestros días, y esto abarca no solo a los perros sino también a los gatos, que son las mascotas más usuales en los hogares y que todos a su manera, nos hacen la vida más llevadera.

Así como lo representa en esta película, Caramelo apoyo a su dueño casi hasta lo último de su propia vida, complementando sus días y su hogar. Él hizo la diferencia en como su dueño veía el mundo, lo ayudó a salir adelante y a disfrutar cada día, como si fuera el último y su dueño, lo aprendió a amar desde el primer momento, con todo y sus locuras, porque en verdad era terrible, pero poco a poco se fue comportando como un perro de su casa ja, ja, ja

Esta película está llena de todos los matices de los sentimientos y emociones. Teniendo un momento culminante casi que al final de ella donde Caramelo salva a su dueño de un terrible accidente, en ese momento todo el que ve aquello se tensa, fue una de mis escenas favoritas, sin dudas esta película no tiene desperdicios; así que si quieres ver algo de corte familiar y divertido, corre a ver a Caramelo, saludos!
