Review of Shawshank redemption

One good thing about Mankind is we get used to any kind of situation...

Every one loves to be free, it hurt to lose this freedom but it is demoralizing when we are being convicted for a crime we know nothing about...

No matter what happens though, we must keep hoping because that is the best gift God gave to Mankind... There is no life without Hope...

I watched the movie SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and three plot got me...

1st scene

It tells the tale of a man who loves his wife but does not know how to show it, this made the wife cheat on him with someone who could offer what he lacks, unfortunately the wife and whom she was cheating with became a murder victim , the man lost his love but something worst happened, he was also charged for the murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment...A crime he didn't commit.... Such a badluck.....

Life in the prison was not that bad, it was hard at the beginning but then things changed, he made new friends and his smartness helped him secure a job with the warden, things were normal until a boy joined them in the prison...

He knew something that got him killed and that was the story of the man whose wife got killed, what he knew could have vindicated the man but the warden would not have it... Because the man was useful to him so he killed the boy and planned to keep the man at his side forever to keep carrying out his scam....

Second Plot

A prisoner who has been in the prison for many years was freed but he hated freedom! He is now used to the life in the four walls of the prison and he doesn't belong to the real world anymore, the only world he knew was the prison, setting him free is like pushing him into the den of the lions...

He was a man without hope, the real world looks strange to him, the world has evolved and the new things he is seeing only scares him more , he got sick of the job he secured and at the end, he committed suicide...

Last scene

A man with hope, some birds don't just deserved to be caged, even though he knew he was innocent there was nothing he could do to vindicate himself but he didn't give up on his life...

He dug a hole for 20 years in his cell meant to be his escape route, he didn't mind how long it was going to take him when he started it and when those he thinks he was helping decided to cage him forever for being good to them...

He knew it was time for him to leave and he did it but he didn't forget his good friend in the prison, he gave him a clue of where to find him incase he got freed someday....

He saved a life with that gesture because his clue gave the friend hope or else he would have committed suicide like the first old man who got freed....

Shawshank redemption is a movie you should watch, there is a lot to learn from it, you won't regret the few hours you are going to spend in watching it... It is actually one of the best movie i have seen this year!
