People do not see you during your struggling time, and they don't care about your source of poverty, but the moment you start making money, they start pokenosing to know the source of your wealth.
As humans, we never know what we are capable of until we find ourselves in situations that test our morality.
The film is about a man named Efe who struggled to make ends meet to support his family, but life was not fair to him. He reeks of poverty and his hard work was not paying well.
His boss took advantage of him, and his mother-in-law disrespected him many times because he was poor. He even lost one of his children due to the lack of money
His morality was tested when he met a street brother who introduced him to a life of crime full of dirty money. He initially rejected the offer, but the humiliation he faced later made him reconsider the offer.

He had the brain; it was his moral stopping him. The moment he dropped that, he rose from zero to 100 within a very short time, but humans find it difficult to control their greed.
The more scams he carried out successfully, the more money he wanted, so he had no plan to stop... His gang has been declared wanted by the police, but that was not the only problem.
An old school criminal also heard about them and demands 30 percent of all the money they earn, but Efe's partner refuses to succumb to the demand, which leads to threats, fear, betrayal, and death.
Efe betrayed his partner in business, he betrayed his side chick and that was what led to his downfall and death too...
If I complete any series with more than 7 episodes, it only means the movie is filled with a lot of suspense, so I am recommending To Kill a Monkey to y'all, you won't regret watching it, and it has been trending on Moviebox for a while now.
