Day 2154 | Movie #17 Poor Things

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, and my personal life...

I t was another straightforward Saturday skipping on the yoga once again while having some focus on the football matches while watching a movie in the evening.

Movie #17: Poor Things (8.1/10)

I had seen 2 of the 4 Yorgos Lanthimos movies with The Lobster and a Killing of a sacred deer which I kind of liked because they were something really different and original. It was only during the watching of Poor Things that I went and looked up the director because I was liking what I saw as it was also very different. I really enjoyed the 2 Hour+ ride in this movie which basically tells the story of bella baxter who was brought back to life by a professor giving her an infant brain to start with in an adult body. I head up front that there was a lot of sex in this movie but I wasn't too bothered with it. Overall I enjoyed and will remember it for a long time as the story was original and it was also shot and acted very well. These are those movies that don't come along very often. It was also the complete opposite of Perfect Days bringing a completely different perspective on life.
