Beutiful Disaster: a more comic adaptation than expected [ESP/ING]

Los libros románticos, un poco cliché eran mi gusto culposo en el momento de pandemia, y en eso años fue justamente cuando leí Maravilloso Desastre de Jamie McGuire, una historia cliché, pero atrapante. Así que cuando Amazon anunció que adaptaría la historia, me emocioné bastante, y debo decir que la selección de actores me pareció acertada, la película la termine viendo con mi amiga @lucianav en mi última ida a Cumaná, y tengo mis opiniones muy clara sobre ella.
La película nos presenta a Travis un joven pealeador de combates ilegales de boxeo, quién conoce a una nueva estudiante llamada Abby, ambos a primera instancia se caen bastante mal, pero, una curiosa apuesta los colocará viviendo juntos durante un mes. En ese tiempo, aprenderán a conocerse y adaptarse al otro.
Romantic books, a bit cliché were my guilty pleasure at the time of pandemic, and in those years was just when I read Beutiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, a cliché story, but catchy. So when Amazon announced that they would adapt the story, I was very excited, and I must say that the selection of actors seemed right, I ended up watching the movie with my friend @lucianav on my last trip to Cumaná, and I have my opinions very clear about it.
The film introduces us to Travis, a young illegal boxing fighter, who meets a new student named Abby, both at first dislike each other, but a curious bet will place them living together for a month. In that time, they will learn to know and adapt to each other.
En este post no intentaré comparar el libro con la película, porque ambos conservan la esencia de la historia, lo que podría decir es que el libro puede ser un poco más oscuro y la película realmente es mucho más comedia. La historia se siente realmente atrapante desde el primer momento e incluso define su público de una manera muy acertada, no busca presentarnos una historia para pensar, básicamente es un producto entretenido.
Los personajes principales acá son todo el sustento de la trama, si llegamos a ver personajes secundarios, pero realmente son casi innecesarios a excepción de algunos que hilaron el conflicto mas grande de la trama.
Travis aunque pudiera encasillarse en el típico chico malo, pero realmente la construcción de su personaje no se basa en eso, incluso pudiera considerarse un chico tierno. Abby, a simple vista es como la típica protagonista juvenil, pero su pasado no es tan cliché, y realmente es una chica bastante inteligente, pero, con un caracter bastante fuerte.
In this post I won't try to compare the book with the movie, because both keep the essence of the story, what I could say is that the book may be a bit darker and the movie really is much more comedy. The story feels really gripping from the very first moment and even defines its audience in a very accurate way, it doesn't seek to present us with a story to think about, basically it's an entertaining product.
The main characters here are the mainstay of the plot, if we get to see secondary characters, but they are really almost unnecessary except for some that spun the biggest conflict of the plot.
Travis, although he could be pigeonholed as the typical bad guy, but really the construction of his character is not based on that, he could even be considered a sweet guy. Abby, at first glance is like the typical teenage protagonist, but her past is not so cliché, and she really is a pretty smart girl, but, with a pretty strong character.

El romance de esta película es bastante gracioso, pero lindo y es un toque bastante importante para el resto de la película, no es naa forzado e incluso se complementan de una manera casi natural. El problema de la mitad de la película, es bastante predecible, pero, nos regala momentos demasiado graciosos.
El final de la película es abierto y de hecho viendola me enteré que los libros tienen una continuación, por tanto, puede que hayan más películas de esta historia. Y la verdad no me disgusta para nada. Siento que puede pasar que las demás películas no se enfoquen en ellos, porque tengo entendido así pasa en los libros.
The romance in this movie is quite funny, but cute and is a very important touch for the rest of the movie, it is not forced and they even complement each other in an almost natural way. The problem with the middle of the movie, it is quite predictable, but, it gives us moments that are too funny.
The ending of the movie is open and in fact watching it I found out that the books have a sequel, so there may be more movies of this story. And the truth is that I don't dislike it at all. I feel that it may happen that the other movies will not focus on them, because I understand it happens in the books.
Maravilloso desastre es una película realmente entretenida, es un cliché, pero esta muy bien hecho desde el sustento de la hitoria y los personajes, sería facilmente una historia que vería de fondo mientras hago algunas cosas, siento que no es extraordinaria, pero, es entretenida y eso me funciona. Siento que con este tipo de historias es un poco verla sin expectativas y siendo sincera luego de ver desastres que ha hecho Netflix con películas como "A través de mi ventana", me siento satisfecha que este libro no lo hayan dejado de lado y realmente inspirará la historia.
Beutiful Disaster is a really entertaining movie, it's cliché, but it's very well done from the sustenance of the story and the characters, it would easily be a story I would watch in the background while doing some things, I feel it's not extraordinary, but, it's entertaining and that works for me. I feel like with these types of stories it's a little bit to watch it without expectations and being honest after seeing disasters that Netflix has done with movies like “Through My Window”, I feel satisfied that this book didn't leave it out and will really inspire the story.

Es una trama muy cliche, a la medida que la vas viendo sientes que falta algo. Pero te lleva hasta el final. Es decir quieres ver que pasa.
La relación de ambos da mucha risa. Hay cosas de cosas jajajajajaa.
