Let's talk about Barbie: was it what you expected? [ESP/ING]

Una de las películas más esperadas este 2023, literalmente Barbie fue todo un fenomeno y debo confcesar que nunca me había ilusionado tanto una película como Barbie, la razon es que siempre fui la niña Barbie que amaba las muñecas, las películas y el encantaba tener todo de Barbie, les juro que yo era bien excesiva, la verdad es que no pude ver Barbie hasta hace poco y por ello veengo a darles mi opinión hasta ahora.
Barbie nos da a conocer Barbieland, el mundo de todas las muñecas Barbie y los Ken, es un mundo dónde las mujeres tienen la concentración de poderes y en el cual conoces a la Barbie Estereotipica, la cual se encuentra preocupada, ya que ha empezado a experimentar cosas extrañas como que sus pies comienzan a ser planos, tiene pensamientos sobre la muerte y de alguna manera de siente incomprendida y triste. Con todo ello, decide buscar ayuda en la Barbie rarita, la cual le dice que tiene que ir al mundo humano para descubrir que le esta pasando.
One of the most anticipated movies this 2023, literally Barbie was a phenomenon and I must confess that I had never been so excited about a movie like Barbie, the reason is that I was always the Barbie girl who loved Barbie dolls, movies and loved to have everything Barbie, I swear I was very excessive, the truth is that I could not see Barbie until recently and therefore veengo to give you my opinion until now.
Barbie introduces us to Barbieland, the world of all Barbie dolls and Ken, is a world where women have the concentration of powers and in which you meet the Stereotypical Barbie, which is concerned, as it has begun to experience strange things like her feet begin to be flat, has thoughts about death and somehow feels misunderstood and sad. With all this, she decides to seek help from Freaky Barbie, who tells her that she has to go to the human world to find out what is happening to her.
Barbie es una comedia de dos horas practicamente, no es una película para niños, pero, yo diria que sería increible llevar a los adolescentes a verla, la historia pudiera parecer simple y sencilla, pero, realmente tiene grandes mensajes que nos muestran cómo funciona el mundo, la intención de esta película es clara: demostrar que el mundo muchas veces es injusto y cómo realmente funcionan los puestos de poder. Todo esto mediante una película llena de comedia, y situaciones que pudieran parecer "superficiales".
No quiero dar spoilers, pero, tengo que decir que los personajes de esta película son carismaticos, pero, al mismo tiempo, profundos, empecemos por la Barbie estereotipica, interpretada por Margot Robbie (por cierto, ame su actuación), es un personaje que lucha en su interior por aceptar todo lo que le esta pasando, acostumbrada a una perfección y un mundo nada parecido al real; ella piensa que las Barbies hicieron que las mujeres vivan en una mejor sociedad y es un gran golpe cuando se da cuenta que no es así.
También tenemos a Ken interpretado por Ryan Gosling, quién se siente rechazado por Barbie, y busca en todo momento su atención tanto así que decide acompañarla al mundo real, en el cual a diferencia de Barbie, él se siente muy cómodo porque encuentra un lugar en el cual le respetan y que lo beneficia constantemente.
Barbie is a comedy of two hours practically, it is not a movie for children, but, I would say that it would be incredible to take teenagers to see it, the story might seem simple and simple, but, it really has great messages that show us how the world works, the intention of this film is clear: to show that the world is often unfair and how the positions of power really work. All this through a movie full of comedy, and situations that could seem "superficial".
I don't want to give spoilers, but, I have to say that the characters in this movie are charismatic, but, at the same time, deep, let's start with the stereotypical Barbie, played by Margot Robbie (by the way, love her performance), she is a character that struggles inside herself to accept everything that is happening to her, used to a perfection and a world nothing like the real one; she thinks that Barbies made women live in a better society and it is a big blow when she realizes that it is not so.
We also have Ken played by Ryan Gosling, who feels rejected by Barbie, and seeks her attention at all times so much so that he decides to accompany her to the real world, in which unlike Barbie, he feels very comfortable because he finds a place in which he is respected and that benefits him constantly.
También tenemos a Gloria, una mujer que de niña jugaba con Barbie, quien se encuentra en una lucha constante entre lo que una vez pensó que sería su vida y en lo que realmente se convirtio. Gloria es la representación junto con su hija, de cómo las mujeres nos desarrollamos en el mundo... Además, ella tiene una escena que literalmente me hizo llorar.
Otra belleza en esta película es la parte de producción, todos los detalles son cuidados, no es una película para niños, pero su diseño te hace ser niña de nuevo y de pronto tienes las casas de Barbie, el carro de Barbie, los looks iconicos... Es muy hermoso ese mundo rosa y de brillos que proponen en la película y definitivamente le da un plus muy interesante.
We also have Gloria, a woman who as a child played with Barbie, who finds herself in a constant struggle between what she once thought her life would be and what she actually became. Gloria is the representation, along with her daughter, of how we women develop in the world... Also, she has a scene that literally brought tears to my eyes.
Another beauty in this movie is the production part, all the details are taken care of, it's not a movie for children, but its design makes you be a child again and suddenly you have the Barbie houses, the Barbie car, the iconic looks... It is very beautiful that pink and glitter world that is proposed in the film and definitely gives it a very interesting plus.
Barbie sin duda alguna es una película controversial, algunos no entendieron lo que verdaderamente significaba la película y pensaron que iba en contra de los hombres, cuando realmente lo que intentaba era intercambiar los roles en los que vivimos hoy, hay algunas frases que evidencia esto. Barbie no intentaba ser una película de aventuras como las animadas (aunque si hay aventura, un poco) Barbie intentaba claramente hacer una crítica y lo hizo de una forma magistral.
Sin duda alguna, Barbie es una de las mejores producciones de este año, es una película increíble, muy inteligente, muy bien hecha y que TODA mujer debería ver, Barbie es una caricia para las mujeres que nos sentimos perdidas, agobiadas e invalidadas... Realmente este tipo de películas son las que terminan cambiando un poco la perspectiva que tenemos del mundo.
Barbie is undoubtedly a controversial movie, some did not understand what the movie really meant and thought it was against men, when really what it was trying to do was to exchange the roles in which we live today, there are some phrases that evidence this. Barbie was not trying to be an adventure movie like the animated ones (although there is adventure, a little bit) Barbie was clearly trying to make a criticism and she did it in a masterful way.
Without a doubt, Barbie is one of the best productions of this year, it is an incredible movie, very intelligent, very well made and that EVERY woman should see, Barbie is a caress for women who feel lost, overwhelmed and invalidated.... Really this kind of movies are the ones that end up changing a little bit the perspective we have of the world.

Me encanto Barbie, nunca me deje influenciar por los comentarios tantos positivos como negativos, hasta verla y yo misma percibir lo que la película quiso transmitir, fue un gran mensaje para la sociedad en la que vivimos y a diferencia de lo que decían que era muy feminista creo que la verdad simplemente intentaron unir a los géneros y dejaran esta guerra entre ellos. Las Barbies se aceptaron como son, con sus cambios, y los Ken fueron libres de expresar sus sentimientos, ya que los hombres les cuesta expresarse porque inmediatamente son juzgados y que no dependen de nadie para ser ellos mismo. En definitiva fue una buena película y divertida, me gusto mucho tu reseña. Saludos.

Es una película genial, honestamente me costó un poco aclimatarme a su estilo de humor, pero luego de la primera media hora me encantó... Aparte su final es muy emocional.
Holii, si tiene un humor particular, pero, como dices, poco a poco tiene un acomodo perfecto en la cinta ❤️
I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet and likely wont until it is available for streaming. I do know that everyone I know that went to the theater to see it, both men and women, have enjoyed it so I'll be looking forward to it when they do release it on a streaming service of some sort.

Para ser sinceros no es absolutamente nada de lo que yo esperaba es simplemente otra propaganda política más de una generación que no sabe perdonar y vive rencorosa todo el tiempo.
