😫🤕🙄😱😨La Violencia como estilo de Vida // Violence as a Way of Life😫🤕🙄😱😨

La violencia es el hecho de transgredir a través de la fuerza los derechos del otro e inclusive los de uno mismo. La misma ocurre cuando se maltrata de manera consciente o insconciente la salud física o mental de una persona o grupo de ellas, animales o cosas. Reciban amigos hivers un gran saludo y un abrazo cálido. En esta oportunidad tomé este tema porque el domingo pasado terminé de ver un K-drama y el tema central fue éste.

Violence is the act of violating the rights of others, and even one's own rights, through the use of force. It occurs when the physical or mental health of a person or group of people, animals, or things is consciously or unconsciously harmed. Greetings, Hivers friends, and a warm hug. I chose this topic because last Sunday I finished watching a K-drama and this was its central theme.

Cuando la violencia se toma a la ligera, cuando las personas e instituciones fingen demencia o se hacen los locos, ésta desencadena una serie de hechos más violentos y peligrosos que el inicial. Debemos denunciarla, no resistir, ni soportar; ni muchos menos pensar en enfrentarla solos; hay que buscar ayuda entre familiares, amigos y sobre todo ante la ley, ya que, son los indicados para acabar con ella.

When violence is taken lightly, when people and institutions feign ignorance or turn a blind eye, it triggers a series of events that are more violent and dangerous than the initial act. We must report it, not resist it or endure it, and certainly not try to confront it alone. We must seek help from family, friends, and above all, the law, as they are the ones best equipped to put an end to it.

La serie tiene por nombre Tú Siempre estuviste Ahí, es una serie original de Netflix 2025, escrita por Kim Hyo-jeong, dirigida por Lee Jeong-rim y protagonizada por Jeon So-nee, Lee Yoo-mi, Jang Seung-jo y Lee Moo-saeng. La historia relata la vinculación de violencia existente entre dos amigas quienes deciden de una manera drástica, acabar con ese ciclo de violencia doméstica perpetrada de manera sistemática por el esposo de una de ellas, mientras que la otra creció con el trauma de los golpes que su padre le propinaba a su madre y ella fingió ignorarlo hasta que creció y se fue de casa, pero el hecho de que se fuera no cambió el dolor, ni la situación de su madre, mucho menos las heridas que dejó en su interior.

The series is called You Were Always There, a Netflix original series from 2025, written by Kim Hyo-jeong, directed by Lee Jeong-rim, and starring Jeon So-nee, Lee Yoo-mi, Jang Seung-jo, and Lee Moo-saeng. The story recounts the violent relationship between two friends who decide to take drastic measures to end the cycle of domestic violence perpetrated systematically by the husband of one of them, while the other grew up with the trauma of her father beating her mother and pretended to ignore it until she grew up and left home. but the fact that she left did not change the pain, nor her mother's situation, much less the wounds it left inside her.

Jo Eun-su (Jeon So-nee) es una empleada de la sección de articulos de lujo de una importante y majestuosa tienda cuyo cargo le ha permitido mantener conexiones con la élite de Seúl, punto a su favor porque posteriormente le va a servir para salir del problema tan grande en el que se mete. Porque al ser testigo de la violencia doméstica de una de sus clientes, que luego decide quitarse la vida; su mamá y luego su amiga decide actuar para acabar con ese flagelo que la sociedad decide ignorar porque el poder, el dinero y la burocracia hacen todo lo posible para que esos casos queden impunes.

Jo Eun-su (Jeon So-nee) is an employee in the luxury goods section of a large, prestigious store, a position that has allowed her to maintain connections with Seoul's elite, which works in her favor because it will later help her get out of the huge mess she gets herself into. After witnessing domestic violence against one of her customers, who later decides to take her own life, her mother and then her friend decide to take action to end this scourge that society chooses to ignore because power, money, and bureaucracy do everything possible to ensure that such cases go unpunished.

La miniserie consta de 8 epsodios, con una hora aproximada de duración cada uno, llena de emociones de todo tipo, lo cual te atrapa en un sinfin de situaciones inesperadas que desencadenan una lista de eventos, que no te dan tiempo de asimilar tantas emociones. Como la gran mayoría de los K-dramas juegan con tu imaginación el desenlace es inesperado; cargado de suspenso, angustias y sorpresas con un final satisfactorio, a mí me gustó.

The miniseries consists of eight episodes, each approximately one hour long, filled with all kinds of emotions, which draw you into a series of unexpected situations that trigger a chain of events, leaving you no time to process so many emotions. Like most K-dramas, it plays with your imagination and the outcome is unexpected; full of suspense, anguish, and surprises with a satisfying ending. I liked it.

Sin embargo, debo decir que la serie en realidad es bastante cruel y fuerte, la manera como muestran la violencia doméstica es muy cruda y salvaje, ya que la protagonista Lee Yoo-mi, (Hui-su) es golpeada hasta con los pies por un hombre que sufre de Trastorno Obsesivo Compulsivo (TOC), quien la lleva al extremo porque la mantiene encerrada, vigilada, manipulada y controlada a tal nivel que ella se convierte en una mujer sumisa y con muy baja autoestima, capaz de suicidarse; pero su amiga llega justo en ese momento para salvarla y convencerla que deben matar a ese hombre para acabar con ese ciclo de violencia. Les recomiendo esta miniserie, ya que nos invita a la reflexión y al cuidado de relaciones tóxicas.

However, I must say that the series is actually quite cruel and intense. The way domestic violence is portrayed is very raw and savage, as the protagonist Lee Yoo-mi (Hui-su) is beaten, even with feet, by a man suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), who takes her to extremes by keeping her locked up, watched, manipulated, and controlled to such an extent that she becomes a submissive woman with very low self-esteem, capable of committing suicide. But her friend arrives just in time to save her and convince her that they must kill that man to end the cycle of violence. I recommend this miniseries, as it invites us to reflect on and be careful of toxic relationships.

Cada serie que veo me deja un aprendizaje y me pone a reflexionar; en este sentido debo decir que, nadie es mejor que nadie; en consecuencia, quien te ama no te hace daño. Por tal razón, ninguna mujer debe permitir ser maltratada por ninguna persona y mucho menos si es su pareja. En tal sentido, es mejor estar sola que mal acompañada; la baja autoestima, las creencias y los paradigmas sociales muchas veces nos llevan a creer que somos culpables y debemos tolerar ese tipo de abusos para no estar sola. Por mi parte debo decir, que eso es totalmente falso, porque quien te ama, no te destruye, cultivemos la salud física y mental, el amor propio y el cuidado de nuestro cuerpo.

Every series I watch teaches me something and makes me reflect; in this sense, I must say that no one is better than anyone else; consequently, those who love you do not hurt you. For this reason, no woman should allow herself to be mistreated by anyone, much less her partner. In this sense, it is better to be alone than in bad company. Low self-esteem, beliefs, and social paradigms often lead us to believe that we are guilty and must tolerate this type of abuse in order not to be alone. For my part, I must say that this is totally false, because those who love you do not destroy you. Let us cultivate physical and mental health, self-love, and care for our bodies.
