Definitivamente hay cosas que nosotros no decidimos, ni tampoco controlamos, en un programa de Carlos Fraga, él utilizó una expresión que me gustó mucho, y me quedó en la mente: "Hay cosas tuyas, cosas mías y cosas de Dios". En este film, queda claro, clarísimo que solo Dios tiene el control. Cuando hablo de Dios me refiero a una deidad, en la que tu creas.

Las cosas mías son las que yo puedo controlar, lo que está bajo mi dominio, mis pensamientos, emociones, acciones, actitudes, entre otros. Las cosas tuyas las controlas tú y las de Dios, solo Dios; así tan sencillo como eso. Hoy les quiero recomendar una película; es muy refrescante, me gustó mucho porque narra la historia de un hombre de la tercera edad, que perdió su esposa. Luego de su muerte; él, siente que no tiene más nada por qué vivir.

Protagonizada por Tom Hanks (Otto Anderson), es una tierna y cálida película que tocará tu corazón; trata sobre un viudo de 63 años muy amargado, molesto con el mundo por su ineptitud e incapacidad para enfrentar situaciones comunes, de la vida diaria que no están a la altura de sus capacidades según él. En consecuencia, vive juzgando y molesto con todo aquel porque según él, no están capacitados para vivir en el mismo domicilio; que él resguarda con tanto recelo, todos los días todo el día.

Otto Anderson, intenta en reiteradas oportunidades acabar con su vida, (todas fallidas por cierto 😜😄😆😂 porque eso no lo controla él, sino Dios). Pues gracias, a su nueva vecina Marisol (Mariana Treviño) y Tommy (Manuel García-Rulfo) con su familia, resultan ser todo lo opuesto a él. Son alegres, simpáticos, torpes, caóticos, genuinos, desprejuiciados, inocentes y en consecuencia bien intencionados.

Él por su lado tratando de corregirlos; porque según él no están dentro de sus parámetros de competencia, termina encariñándose con ellos, especialmente con Marisol. Termina amándola como una hija, como nietas a sus niñas; sintiéndose cómodo y a gusto en una relación familiar con su esposo. Encuentra en ellos una nueva razón para vivir.

Esta película muestra como va abriendo su corazón al entorno, a sus antiguos vecinos y descubriendo caminos de redención. Aborda temas importantes y sensibles como el duelo, la desesperanza y la soledad. Nos muestra que a pesar de las circunstancias, la vida siempre sale a nuestro encuentro y se interpone en nuestro camino llevándonos al encuentro con personas que nos ayudan a sanar y a tener esperanzas cuando creemos que ya no hay más nada para continuar.
