Yesterday I was filled with tenderness while watching a movie, it left me with a lovely feeling inside my chest and I felt like a child again while watching it, I don't know how to explain it but it was something very nice. The movie is called Ponyo on the Cliff, and it's about a little fish that escapes from her father the sea sorcerer, in this way she arrives by chance next to a boy who lives on the cliff, and he called her Ponyo and decides to take her home, feed her and keep her as his pet, although the little fish's father did not resign himself to losing her and was looking for her by sea and land, but what the boy could not imagine was that Ponyo increasingly acquired more human features until she became a completely human girl, but this change brought with it an imbalance in nature.
Ayer me llené de ternura mientras miraba una película, me dejó con una linda sensación dentro del pecho y me sentí niña otra vez mientras la veía, no sé como explicarlo pero fue algo muy lindo. La película se llama Ponyo en el Acantilado, y se trata de una pecesita que escapa de su padre el hechicero del mar, de esta manera llega por casualidad junto a un niño que vive en el acantilado, y la llamó Ponyo y decide llevarla a su casa, alimentarla y conservarla como su mascota, aunque el padre de la pecesita no se resignó a perderla y estuvo buscándola por mar y tierra, pero lo que el niño no podía imaginar era que Ponyo cada vez adquiría rasgos más humanos hasta convertirse en una niña humana completamente, pero este cambio trajo consigo un desequilibrio en la naturaleza.
The film is pure innocence, it explores friendship in childhood, naivety and nobility, but I also think that it explores in a certain way the feeling of abandonment in children, for example, the boy tried to maintain constant communication with his father who worked on a frigate, and this was because he really could not stand his absence, at that age children need a male role model to guide them and act as a role model, and although his mother gives him everything he needs, including affection, he feels that there is a void there, something that Ponyo complements very well with her arrival, she for her part, with her explosive and naive personality transforms everything around her, makes it happier
La película es pura inocencia, explora la amistad en la niñez, la ingenuidad y la nobleza, pero también pienso que explora de cierta manera el sentimiento de abandono en los niños, por ejemplo, el niño intentaba mantener una constante comunicación con su padre que trabajaba en una fragata, y esto era debido a que realmente no soportaba su ausencia, a esa edad los niños necesitan un referente masculino que les sirva de guía y modelo a seguir, y aunque su madre le da todo lo que necesita, incluyendo el afecto, él siente que hay allí un vacío, algo que Ponyo complementa muy bien con su llegada, ella por su parte, con su personalidad explosiva e ingenua transforma todo a su alrededor, lo vuelve más alegre
As Ponyo develops on Earth and strengthens the bonds of friendship with the boy, she becomes more human, and this is due to acceptance. When you accept the environment in which you develop, little by little you begin to blend in with it, but this does not happen without willpower. In this case, Ponyo wanted with all her might to become human, and she succeeded.
A medida que Ponyo se desenvuelve en la tierra y estrecha los lazos de amistad con el niño se va volviendo más humana, y esto se debe a la aceptación, cuando tú aceptas el entorno en el que te desenvuelves, poco a poco empiezas a mimetizarte con él, pero esto no sucede sin la voluntad, en este caso Ponyo deseaba con todas sus fuerzas volverse humana y lo consiguió.
The most beautiful thing about the film is that it explores love from a different point of view than usual (romantic love). This film tells us about the love for nature, for the community, the love for children and for parents and of course the love for friends. In addition, Ponyo's enthusiasm is very moving and contagious, that's why I told you at the beginning of the post that I felt like a child again when I saw the film 😊
Lo más hermoso de la película es que explora el amor desde un punto de vista diferente al acostumbrado (el amor romántico) esta película nos habla del amor por la naturaleza, por la comunidad, el amor por los hijos y por los padres y desde luego el amor por los amigos, además el entusiasmo de Ponyo es muy conmovedor y contagioso, por eso les dije al inicio del post que volví a sentirme niña al ver la película 😊
I believe that in a certain way, Ponyo's father's excessive magic represents the excesses that humans sometimes commit with the ocean, which often triggers an unexpected reaction in it, causing environmental imbalance.
Yo creo que de cierta manera la magia desmesurada del padre de Ponyo representa los excesos que los humanos a veces cometemos con el océano, lo cuál muchas veces llega a desencadenar una reacción inesperada en él, causando desequilibrio ambiental.
