The Last Call to Istanbul [ESP/ENG]
Serin and Mehmet meet by chance in New York, even though they're both Turkish. After a mix-up with their luggage, they decide to spend time together. Both are married but bored with the monotony of their relationships, so they plan to do something different, something they couldn't do back home for fear of being discovered by their spouses. They spend time together, getting to know each other better, but then... there's a plot twist I really didn't see coming! 😄
Serin y Mehmet se encuentran por casualidad en Nueva York aunque ambos son turcos, y tras un altercado con sus respectivos equipajes, por alguna razón ambos deciden pasar el tiempo juntos, los dos están casados pero aburridos de la monotonía con sus respectivas parejas, así que planean hacer algo diferente, algo que no podrían hacer en su país de origen por temor a ser descubiertos por sus respectivas parejas, así que ambos pasan el tiempo juntos, aprenden a conocerse mejor pero al final....... viene un giro de trama que de verdad yo no me esperaba para nada 😄
It's a romantic comedy in the best style of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," but despite having very funny scenes, it also offers good reflections on routine in couples and how much monotony affects relationships. Furthermore, it explores how loyal you can be to your partner when in a different context, with a different person in a different country, and experiencing new emotions you weren't prepared for.
Es una comedia romántica al mejor estilo de "Como perder a un hombre en diez días", pero a pesar de que tiene escenas muy graciosas en el fondo tiene buenas reflexiones sobre la rutina en las parejas y lo mucho que afecta a las relaciones la monotonía, y por otra parte también explora el hecho de que tan leal puedes ser a tu propia pareja estando en un contexto diferente, con una persona diferente en un país diferente, además sintiendo nuevas emociones para las cuales no estabas preparado.
No puedo decir absolutamente nada sobre el giro de trama que tiene la película sin arruinar la experiencia de quién desee verla pero les puedo decir que es sorprendente y que ayuda significativamente a solventar el dilema que existe entre la pareja, ya que uno se pregunta constantemente si terminarán engañando a sus respectivos conyugues. Por otra parte les puedo decir que la película maneja un buen ritmo, al menos yo lo sentí así, no me aburrió para nada, no la sentí densa, al contrario, desde el inicio hasta el final me mantuvo entretenida.
I don't know much about this actor, well, actually I don't know him at all, but I liked the way he performed, and regarding the girl I do know her, she is Beren Saat whom I know through Turkish series like "Forbidden Love" "Sultana Kosen" and of course the most famous of all "What is Fatmagül's Fault?" (I highly recommend this last one) and through all these series I have realized that in Turkey they are very good actors, I haven't seen a single bad actor so far.
No conozco mucho sobre este actor, bueno, en realidad no lo conozco, pero me gustó la manera en que se desenvolvió, y con respecto a la chica sí que la conozco, ella es Beren Saat a quién conocí a través de serie Turcas como "Amor Prohibido "Sultana Kosen" y desde luego la más famosa de todas "¿Qué culpa tiene fatmagül?" (esta última la recomiendo muchísimo) y a través de todas estas series me he dado cuenta que en Turquía son muy buenos actuando, no he visto hasta ahora al primer mal actor.
I highly recommend this movie if you want to have a fun and entertaining time, laugh a little, and be surprised at the end. Well, for now, I'll leave you with virtual kisses and hugs 😘🤗.
De verdad les recomiendo mucho esta película si quieren pasar un rato entretenido y ameno, reírse un poco y sorprenderse al final. Bueno, por ahora los dejo mandándoles besos y abrazos virtuales 😘🤗.
