Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel is coming…

I don't believe there's any surprise that we will be seeing a sequel to the new Ghostbusters film as it connected with audiences unlike the previous reboot.

The end sequence of the film showed us that we're making a trip back to New York City. The first two films took place here and are synonymous with the series. I wonder if they'll be taking up residence in the old firehouse? Word on the street is that the project is called firehouse so I believe this is a safe bet.

I wonder if the original crew that's left will make an appearance again? Jason Reitman directs of course and is the son of the original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman. I believe his father would be very proud of his vision for the franchise going forward, I know I and many are.

The date has been set for December 2023.

Ray Parker Jr. knows all about it

Bobby Brown might know too. This will transplant you right back to Ghostbusters 2. This film had its moments but can't compare to the original.

a sequel to GB: Afterlife? Yes! I had not heard that a sequel was in the planning. This, to me, is great news as we really enjoyed Afterlife. I hope that the sequel will be at least as good as Afterlife.

I hope so too. This Ghostbusters entry was a fun film with some interesting ideas unlike the 2016 version :)
