Some scenes in a movie habitually leave me emotional and nagging, during those moments I try to conduct myself by saying this is not a reality.I am sure you have found yourself talking way too much because your favorite character is misbehaving but you have almost forgotten that this is just a script written by editors so why bother right?

And at the same time, an incident is about to take place in the movie and you do not want it to happen and then suddenly you are all tense and panicking then eventually it materializes so why beat yourself up? Sounds meaningless and uproarious, right? There is some stuff that we contain and control but emotions are hardly controlled except for someone who has strongly decided to flatten it with discipline.

Have you watched this movie titled “Fatal Seduction”?

_ Erm, I guess not!

So here is the review!

According to some sources, it was said that the movie was a replica of another movie titled “Dark Desire”. And to confirm it, after my watch with “Fatal Seduction”, I acknowledged the fact that was true about “Fatal Seduction” being a replica of “Dark Desire”, and I wished “Fatal Seduction” was the masterpiece.

Fatal Seduction is all about a married woman who goes on a stress-free weekend trip away from home that sparks desire and intimacy but ends tragically, along the line secrets begin to unfold and she is left to wonder if the people around her are truly who they claimed to be.

Little did she know that the affair she was having had been planned by the wrongdoer long ago and unfortunately for her obsession took over.
The movie began with scenes of intimacy and pleasure that resulted in a murder case which left me with suspense and curiosity.

That was a scenario from the end that flashed to the beginning of the movie to keep the viewers engrossed and to be frankly speaking it kept me glued to my screen. The main character (Protagonist) in the screenplay is Nandi and the (Antagonist) is Jacob; they both had a major role in the movie, and they were the center of attraction.

Nandi, a professor at the university is pulled into a passionate extramarital affair with a younger man who happens to be her student and then uncovers a path of tragedy including betrayal from her mutual friends including “Brenda” her best friend.

Watching this movie gave me real suspense, bitterness, and weeping, and in some ways, it depicts real-life challenges that every normal individual passes through at one phase in life. The form of betrayal that happened corresponded with the type of betrayal I had from my best friend too, my wounds were reopened and I shed tears. Healing takes time and this is the truth.

Brenda, who happened to be Nandi’s best friend, had been sleeping with her husband, Leonard for a long time. Leonard persuaded Brenda to give false evidence so he could be promoted and Jacob’s father took his life as a result of that, this is how Jacob’s role came to be.

Jacob orchestrated the whole plan and executed his revenge through Nandi, whose husband caused the death of his father because of self-interest and made his mother develop a loss of memory till she died. In the course of having affairs with Nandi, Jacob develops a strong obsession for her, and his plans become unsteady, his obsession takes a drastic turn when Nandi begins to reject his future advances.

He manipulated his way into Nandi’s only daughter and Judge Leonard “Zinhle” into sleeping with her, this is just to get the attention of Nandi but eventually, it gets worse.

The part that broke me the most was the person that she trusted the most and had been telling so many things that also appeared like a father figure to her and her daughter backstabbed her. “Vuyo” , her husband's brother.

I got to know at the end that he was the main master planner of most unraveling situations, plots, and twists that has brought back painful memories. Vuyo is the biological father to Zinhle. He was taking his revenge gradually and everything was pinpointed to Jacob until Jacob gave up his revenge because he had fallen in love with Nandi.

From the very beginning, it is established that Vuyo and his brother Leonard have a complicated relationship, but nothing much is said about their childhood. If that had been shown, it could have given the viewers enough insight into what made them so different as people.

Vuyo is introduced right at the beginning of Fatal Seduction as a private detective who takes up odd jobs, but he still feels close to his previous profession as a police officer. Whatever might have transpired during their childhood wasn't revealed.
