Greetings to all my cinephile friends! Today I join the Cine TV Contest #34 - Favorite Television Comedy with the series Mom, which I like very much, I am currently re-watching the whole series with my mother and we have a lot of fun with each episode.

Mom is a 2013 series that consisted of 178 episodes divided into 8 magnificent seasons.

The protagonists of this series are Anna Faris who plays Christy, an alcoholic woman who is in Alcoholics Anonymous along with her mother Bonnie played by the great actress Allison Janney. These women, between laughs and a lot of fun, show us how difficult it can be to decide to stay sober for their children and to recover the family.

Throughout each season new characters with very peculiar characteristics are integrated, but they have in common that they belong to AA.

Mom es una serie del año 2013 que consistió en 178 episodios divididos en 8 magníficas temporadas.

Las protagonistas de esta serie son Anna Faris que interpreta a Christy, una mujer alcohólica que esta en alcohólicos anónimos junto con su madre Bonnie interpretada por la gran actriz Allison Janney. Estas mujeres, entre risas y mucha diversión, nos enseñan lo difícil que puede llegar a ser decidir mantenerse sobria por sus hijos y para recuperar a la familia.

A lo largo de cada temporada se van integrando nuevos personajes con características muy peculiares, pero que tienen en común que pertenecen a AA.

It is a comedy, but sometimes, the situations presented in each episode can bring tears to our eyes, because it is very difficult to be an alcoholic and try to get out of those dark days. Many times the main characters are rejected because of their background, others have relapses and see how the effort of so much time to stay sober fades away and it is sad , especially because you know that these are real life situations.

Es una comedia, pero algunas veces, las situaciones que se presentan en cada episodio pueden llegar a sacarnos las lágrimas, ya que es muy difícil ser un alcohólico y tratar de salir de esos días oscuros. Muchas veces los protagonistas son rechazados por sus antecedentes, otros tienen recaídas y ven como el esfuerzo de tanto tiempo de mantenerse sobrios se desvanece y es triste , sobre todo porque se sabe que son situaciones de la vida real.

My favorite character is Bonnie, she is an older woman with some witticisms that make me laugh a lot. Her sarcasm accompanies her wherever she goes and many times she can be a cold woman when dealing with people, but deep down she has nice feelings for her daughter and really wants to make amends for her past behavior.

Mi personaje favorito es Bonnie, es una mujer mayor con unas ocurrencias que me hacen reír mucho. Su sarcasmo la acompaña donde quiera que va y muchas veces puede llegar a ser una mujer fría para tratar a las personas, pero en el fondo tiene unos bonitos sentimientos hacia su hija y realmente quiere enmendar su comportamiento en el pasado.

My favorite season was the first one, as it takes place in the everyday life of Christy's house, with her children: a 10 year old boy who has trouble with math and a teenage daughter who gets pregnant. Bonnie loses her apartment and moves in with her daughter to help her with the children. In the midst of chaotic days, Christy works as a waitress in a restaurant and learns to forgive and coexist with her mother.

Mi temporada favorita fue la primera, pues ese desarrolla en la cotidianidad de la casa de Christy, con sus hijos: un pequeño de 10 años que tiene problemas con las matemáticas y una hija adolescente que queda embarazada. Bonnie pierde su apartamento y se muda con su hija para ayudarla con los niños. En medio de los días caóticos, Christy trabaja de mesera en un restaurante y aprende a perdonar y a convivir con su madre.
