Science Fiction is indeed one of the movie and series genres that can be interpreted in multiple ways. As I age I am slowly liking to watch them. One of the best Science Fiction that I have seen is the "Foundation" which was first released in 2021. In finding interesting Science Fiction to watch I stumbled upon "Foundation" and so, I decided to write a review about it.

The film's story is about a young mathematics prodigy who solved a half-century-old mathematical proof and with her rests the fate of a galactic empire.

"Foundation" was able to capture my imagination right away because of the "universe-themed" cinematography. There is even a slight touch of Star Wars and the beginning with the gliding vehicle that was shown combined with a Star Wars like sound effect. Check out a screenshot of a floating structure below, very futuristic isn't it?

Aside from the stunning cinematography "Foundation" also has lots of memorable lines that I am sure if you watch it you are also going to notice it. One good example is...

This is very accurate. In all facets of life, especially in politics, those who are in power are afraid of changes because they think that the change will bring their downfall.

Another one is...

This is again very true, imagine, you built your house for days which takes a lot of power/money, and if it is going to be burned it will only take a few hours with minimal effort.

Aside from memorable lines, this episode did not lack great special effects like a planet's ring that was shown in the early part of the episode, check the screenshot from this episode below.

Another nice special effect that this episode has shown is an orb projection containing mathematical figures that are central to the story of episode 1 (check the screenshot below).

By the way, I am also going to commend the costume design of the series. The costume designs are visibly well-thought-out which in turn makes them unique and I can say that I have never seen such design.

Aside from nice cinematography and special effects episode 1's plot/story is very interesting. It is well written. The scenes are also fast-paced making every scene interesting. I think it is one of the best science fiction that I have seen in years.

The ending of episode one is also very suspenseful it is the perfect ending for a series because you will want to see the next episode just because of the ending. Not only the ending but also the entire story is interesting enough to make you watch the next one.
