Hello and welcome to the 42ND edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.

And it’s all simple. Every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest, but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.

So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

For me, it's a film that exposes everything about adventures and their consequences, as its character, Walter Mitty, is reserved and, above all, has many fears, but who dares to face them through the beautiful experience of traveling. Although not everything is rosy during these trips.

Title: A Night With Mr. Daniels

Sometimes I just do wonder how some Nollywood movies are done, and this makes me think about what the director and the producer think about before they get on to the movie set and produce a movie because sometimes you watch a movie where it won't even meet your expectations from what you think the movie will be, and then after watching the movie, it feels like a waste of time. Then came this movie

Title: Ginny and Georgia

My understanding of the self sabbotage pattern is that some of these women feel dejected the moment they break up with their child’s father. A situation that makes them feel undeserving or irritated by any form of assistance anyone else has to render. This pattern was adopted by the Georgia character. As we follow through her journey of self-sabotage,

Title: KO || The Rescuer and the Avenger

1001190618.jpg

Seeing a thrilling action movie has always been my choice, but not a French movie maybe because of the language barrier. But today, I was opportuned to see my French action movie titled KO. The movie is an interesting one and I would like to see it over and again. The action movie KO was written and directed by Antoine Blossier.

Title: Just Mercy

I love watching movies, actually, some may say that my goal this year is to explore as many different types and themes of movies as I can.
I'm certainly well on the way there as the amount of my reviews and movies on my watch list are becoming much more longer.
Like I said, I've watched different themes and yet one that I feel is overused and I tend to definitely avoid are those about racism.

Title: Die Hart 2: Die Harter

1001190637.jpg

I acknowledge the film for its comedy and action accompanied with it. I couldn't help but notice beyond the comedy and the rest that the film was directly addressing Kevin Hart's real-life career and public persona. I found Hart's character to be really dumb in the sense that for a good amount of time he kept on believing that what was happening in front of his eyes was a movie even when we was faced with a life and death situation, if not for his costar Jordan King who apparently was the sensible one, he would have been toast.

Title: Conan, the Barbarian

1001190638.jpg

You see, this is the film my dad and I talked about today. He reminded me of some scene and it just shows how great his memories are. Here are some fun fact: "Conan the Barbarian" (1982) is a fantasy epic that's equal parts action-packed, humorous, and absurd. It was a movie that was wildly loved by man people which was why a second part was made. The truth is that, I didn’t even know the movie was released in 1982, that was before I was born but I enjoyed watching it.

Title: Old Guy: An Underwhelming Watch

I have never explicitly called a movie boring because I understand the hard work, effort and resources put into making a movie a success. But after giving this movie a second thought and a third, I will classify it as boring et bland. I was bored out of my mind while seeing this film but judging from the fact that many movies climax towards the end, I decided to give the film the benefit of doubt. And I regretted doing so.

And there you have it! Congratulations to all those spotlighted this week. We look forward to more exceptional content. And to everyone posting in the community, we look forward to seeing more of you around.
