Hello CineTV

It has been another week and I am happy to be putting together another contest! Life just keeps moving on and you never know what the next day will bring. I hope that this contest finds you all doing extremely well. :)

This past contest was an attempt for me to learn more about the places where everyone is coming from in our community. To pick a film that represents your own country might have been challenging but I am grateful to everyone that particpated. I had hoped for some more entries, but maybe we can get them into the next contest...

Let's get to the winners!

First Place

The first place finisher was @wiseagent with a choice of Elite Squad, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@wiseagent/elite-squad-the-shocking-portrait-of-brazilian-corruption

Thank you for sharing a picture of Brazil and the reality of corruption and brutality. Not being from there, it is hard to understand that struggle. Congrats and thanks again!

Second Place

The second place finisher was @amigoponc with a choice of Life Lesson, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@amigoponc/cine-tv-contest-99-life-lesson

A very interesting choice and representation of Canada. It sounds like a beautiful movie. Thank you!

Third Place

The third place finisher was @edithb with their choice of Huelepega, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@edithb/cinetv-contest-huelepega

Thank you for the reality of Venezuela and the devastation of poverty and the brutal nature of living in the streets. Thanks again for sharing.

Congrats!

450 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!

And let's move on to the new contest!

You Pick the Film!

It's an amazing thing to be here for the 100th contest! (It may not be because of numbering issues, but I say it is!) And for this celebration for the 100th contest, I am going to do something special. :)

Here are the details for the contest.

  1. You can pick any movie you want to enter the contest. There is no theme.
  2. You must include "Cine TV Contest" in the title of your entry
  3. It cannot be a movie that you have reviewed in the past, it must be appropriate (so nothing pornographic), and you must write at least 4 paragraphs about the film and include at least one sourced picture.
  4. Write a thorough and personal review that is engaging and creative.

I am very looking forward to the selections that people choose when there are no restrictions. It should make for an entertaining contest!!!

Because this is a celebration, I am going to do something special. Everyone that follows the above rules and enters this contest will be sent 50 Cine just for entering, from me personally. So that means that everyone who enters and follows the above rules, wins something!

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!

100 Years: The film you'll never see!

Late, but surely. Here I am with great expectations, because the film production I bring you is “something out of the ordinary”, and it took me some time to gather all the information to present something worthy on this anniversary of @cene.

I take this opportunity to invite @castri-ja, @josegilberto, @sacra97, @chironga67, @atryuserver, @lecumberre, and @mllg.

Excelente entrada, amigo. No conocía la película ni había escuchado hablar de ella. Ya me picó la curiosidad.
