Hello CineTV

What would life be without great friends? It would definitely be less entertaining and less full. Friends bring a richness and flavor to life and to cinema! This past week's contest was all about best friends and movies that show their importance.

I want to take a moment to thank all of those that entered. If you are entering the contests and find that you are not making the top three, consider the length and depth of your reviews, your movie selections and most importantly your adherence to the topic. One of my coworkers just left this morning for her honeymoon and she is headed to Hawaii. Her and her husband are off on an awesome adventure for the next week and I have to admit I am extremely jealous! I have never been to Hawaii and I would love to go someday.

My family went on a long vacation adventure a few years ago out west in the United States and this year we are planning on visiting the Northeast of the country. While I see these as an "adventure," I have done some other things that would probably better qualify. A few things that I have done: camp on a private island in the Pacific Ocean, attand a camp in the Appalachian mountains, and I also got to go to the most recent Super Bowl.

For this contest, I would like you to choose your favorite movie that exemplifies adventure. Pick a movie with excitement and maybe some kind of amazing journey. Give us an in depth review about this adventure film and why you chose it. Would you like to go on an adventure like this? What stood out about this adventure? Is this adventure something that would excite you or frighten you? Or maybe both?
