Hello CineTV

Things are just now starting to return to normal in my house. Everyone is feeling a bit better but having kids in school, we are used to getting sick with the latest bugs. Not super fun but it's our reality. Hopefully we can avoid getting sick for a while. But it is a great time to get caught up on your movie watching!

Luckily my family is feeling better and I am starting to get sick, just in time for the weekend. Oh well. Thanks to everyone that entered the contest and good luck!

Favorite Zombie Movie

In honor of the Halloween or spooky season, I decided to go with a popular genre in movies and television, zombies! My son and I are watching some of these movies now that he is getting older. Maybe I will tell you which ones after the contest. ;)

From movies by George Romero to more recent ones, zombie movies have a weird place in my heart. I remember as a young person being introduced to them when my friend's step parent allowed us to watch it with them and made it a drinking game. One drink for a zombie and ten drinks for every human, we drank soda and he had adult beverages. One movie later and I remember having a stomach ache but the genre stuck with me.

For this contest, I want you to pick your favorite zombie movie and review it. Give me some contest on whether you like the genre or not and some personal stories about watching them.

I would to take part in this contest, but I’m already preparing something for Halloween next week… stay tuned. I remember back in the early 2000s zombie movies became the thing; there was a new one almost every week. My favorite zombie movie has got to be Dawn of the Dead (2004) by Zack Snyder; it was his first and best movie. Check also Land of the Dead (2005), that one was really cool.
