We’re Back!

Greetings and salutations to all you wonderful cinephiles! Welcome back to the rebirth of @cinetv! I am @papacrusher and I am the current project manager for @cinetv! We will be giving updates through this channel as often as possible, but I just wanted to touch base with everyone and let you all know what the team has been working on behind the scenes! Normally these updates will be created by our community editor, @notacinephile, but, as project manager, I wanted to reach out to you all and give you some insight into what we’ve been working on and to just say a sincere, “Thank you” to everyone and encourage everyone to get back involved with this amazing project! We have assembled an absolutely stellar team and their talent and passion for cinema is unrivaled and I am so extremely proud to have the chance to work with them all! We have some exciting developments on the horizon and we are so very grateful you are with us on this fascinating journey!

Delegation

First up is delegation! We know how passionate and dedicated to film, television, and all things related to cinema you all are, but getting a decent vote to reward your efforts in excellence is nice too…right??? That being said, our fearless leader, @raymondspeaks has secured a 50k HIVE delegation for our main @cinetv account. This increased vote power will allow us to curate more of your amazing content and give it the rewards and recognition it deserves. Ray is also on the lookout for additional delegation opportunities and we are constantly reinvesting our earnings back into the community. On a side note, if you are passionate about our project and want to support us, we would be so grateful for any delegations you might be willing to support us with!

Rebranding

The next thing on our agenda is the topic of our community branding and logo. Although we absolutely adore our original design for our logo and branding elements, we, as a team, felt it was time for a bit of an update and to make some modifications to our branding efforts so that the media elements are easier to read, works better on various backgrounds, and are clear tools for the entire community to have use of. We are extremely close to a final version of our new logo and branding elements and once complete, we will have a complete media kit of images, logos, and dividers in our Discord. We are very excited about our new look and hope you love it as much as we do!

Curation Efforts

As we keep on rolling on the updates, I wanted to mention our efforts to increase curation and make sure we are getting exposure for all your impressive articles in our community. We realigned some of our inactive curators and are in the process of creating curation accounts for all of our core team members so they can be on the lookout for quality posts that represent the quality and excellence we expect from our community members. As we continue to grow we will be looking for new curators who are as passionate about this project as we are. They will need to be active in our Discord, be the author of quality posts, and basically just be insane about all things related to cinema! Lol

We are also excited to announce a partnership with @oneup-cartel for curation efforts and we have two dedicated curators who have joined their ranks in growing efforts to support @cinetv authors. Oneup has been one of the largest curators of #cinetv content and one of the largest holders of CINE from the beginning. We are so proud they reached out to partner with us and we are very excited to nurture this relationship and grow it into something spectacular!

We have also developed a curation trail on Hive Vote as a more efficient way to increase our curation efforts and as an additional way for our supporters to show their support for community posts. Please consider joining the trail with the power of your vote to ensure that our authors are rewarded for their efforts!

Speaking of our posts and authors, it is important to note a couple of things. Our community is about ALL things related to film and television and the post doesn't have to just be movie or show reviews. In fact, we would love to see more posts on the esoteric elements of cinema and television detailing how it has affected you or society as a whole. We want to hear YOUR stories….you passion for film…..why you adore the cinema! It is critical that you use our #cinetv and #cine tags and that you post directly into the community when possible. This is your best chance to be picked up by our curation teams and ensure that you are recognized as a true author of cine!

Dedicated Dev

Ok on to more exciting news! We are working with a dedicated @cinetv developer who is just as passionate about this project as we are and we have some exciting ideas that we honestly feel he can turn into realities for our evolving front end. We want to stand head and shoulders above the rest of the communities and having a sleek, functional, and beautiful front end for our user base is just one element to achieve our goals. He is also exploring efforts to increase the automation aspects with regards to curation, post importing, and just overall streamlining how we manage the community. We will keep everyone up to date on our progress in this realm!

Twitter Initiatives

I could go on and on for days about our social media manager, thisismylife, she is knocking it out of the park with our daily Twitter engagement and if you are not following our account, you are definitely missing out on some great content and writing prompts! We have seen some great feedback and interactions through these writing prompts and we are happy with where it is taking us!

Miscellaneous

Oh did I mention those brilliant Brighton Boys, @stickupboys are curating top @cinetv posts as well!?!?! These guys are literally mad about film and @cinetv and go out of their way to support our efforts and recognize our authors who are putting out some great content. They even have some of their amazing work in our NFT marketplace at our current Cine TV front end.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to join our Discord and get involved with our community. We will be listing our social media posts, news posts, and contests here and you will always be the first to know what’s going on in the @cinetv community!

Well that’s it for now, but know how much we love you all and how thankful we are that you are involved with this project! We adore that you are walking this path with us and together we are growing something truly amazing! Our current team impresses me on a daily basis and none of our progress would be possible without their selfless dedication and hard work. They are beyond compare and I am extremely humbled to get to work with them!!!!
