dCity Collaboration - exclusive NFTs for CINE and our own ingame event!

So those of you who have been following along with CINETV tribe know we are open for great collaborations, we are always interested in considering other projects to work with, to collaborate with, to team up for massive effect and win-win deals. Well recently we have been in discussion with dCity about integrating into their game. dCity.io, for those of you who don't know, is one of the longest running NFT games on HIVE, second only to Splinterlands, it is a passive game that comes together by collecting tokens into your 'city'.

Exclusive 1/183 Executive Producer NFT

Over time it has grown to have many types of NFTs, and one of the most important types is 'citizens'. CINETV has made a deal to have our very own themed citizen within dCity - the Executive Producer!

Within the dCity.io/city interface, you can click on the Auctions tab, and see the Executive Producer NFT being auctioned off each day. This promotion will last 6 months, meaning there is ~183 Executive Producers ever made - a limited edition NFT to get your hands on! Each day for these months, there will be a new one able to be bid on, all the bidding will take place in CINE tokens.

The highest bidder each day will win that NFT! dCity has agreed not to spend the CINE tokens, so these bids will act something like a burn mechanism that CINE will enter, but not leave.

And @cinetv has the first Executive Producer NFT in our wallet right now!

Art Convention Activation - more utility for CINE tokens!

Apart from that great news of a limited edition NFT being bid for in CINE tokens, we also have taken over the Art Convention event, an event that players of dCity can use to give their creativity stat a temporary boost as well as get 12 independent chances to mine an Artist citizen NFT. This event will cost 50 CINE which arrive to the same 'dCity burn account' as the bids, so will take these tokens out of circulation permanently.

The amount that this event is used will depend on the price of artist NFTs, the price of SIM and the price of CINE, only time will tell, but to be integrated into an event is a proud moment for us at the CINETV tribe.

CINE's promise

As part of this collaboration, we at CINETV have agreed to buy 2000 HIVE worth of SIM and hold them forever, never to sell them. This SIM will pay us in HIVE, theoretically forever, based on the 'SIM Holding Rewards' that are calculated via various levers in the dCity game.

After discussing amongst the team, we have decided to keep this SIM on the @cinetv.curate account, and use all HIVE that comes in to buy CINE, either from the diesel pool or by listing a low buy order and waiting. Any CINE purchased in this way will be powered up forever, on this account that we will never power down. It will live in the community forever and curate the best posts based on our team members selections.

It will also build up some buy walls on the order books, this will have beneficial effects during future down turns, such as the kinds that happens when HIVE pumps and all Hive-Engine tokens tend to suffer.

This offers another positive feedback loop of value into the CINE token and CINETV project - one which we are very happy about and think can bring lasting and durable value to our mission.
