Hello and welcome back to this week’s edition of ‘Frey’s Findings’. Now let’s dive into what has been popular this week!
This week on the movie front, 'Creed III' starring Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors has been a hit. The film is a sports drama and was released earlier this month on March 3rd. It has already scored 88% on rotten tomatoes! Any of you Michael B. Jordan fans?
Another fan favourite has been 'The Whale' which stars popular actress Sadie Sink who played Max Mayfield in the Netflix original series 'Stranger Things' which I have touched upon before and explained how much the youth of today are OBSESSED with it.
This week in the Netflix world, 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' has been a fan favourite. I love this film trilogy and used to watch it all the time a few years ago. Anyone else watched it? The film stars Lana Condor as main character.
This film franchise is so cheesy but I used to be a sucker for a good cheesy romance film a few years ago haha!
One thing I don't get about Netflix recently is them getting rid of the most popular and best films on the platform? Most of my favourite films that used to be on there aren't and it's like they just don't want me to watch haha! Hopefully they don't do what they said and start putting ads!
One comedy I do like watching is 'Schitts Creek' it is a real comfort show to me and it always brings a smile to my face if I am down. Anyone watched it?
This week on streaming services, I have been watching All4 and really enjoy the vast majority they have to offer. This week I have especially enjoyed the 'Deep Fake' comedy. It is just a load of celebrity faces deep faked onto normal people and they live next door to each other. So in one episode, Beyoncé and Billie Eilish were neighbours. It is such a weird comedy but it definitely got a laugh out of me!
This week on Youtube, The Sidemen have been trending again with their latest video. I know they are VERY popular among my friends and people my age. They are known for their outragous videos and pranks etc. Just like a basic example of an all boys youtube channel who do challenges and directed at young women. I have seen so many channels like theirs in the past. Personally, I don't think they are anything special (but don't let those my age hear me say that haha!)
Now time for what is going on in the celebrity world. A world vastly different from mine and yours.
Not a lot has been going on this week but the one sided feud between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez is still going after years and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. As stated last week, Hailey's obsession with Selena is so concerning and the fact she was an active stalker beforehand. The celebrity world can be so weird...
