Of course it's best if you have inspiration in abundance without the need for writing prompts, but it's still cool to see that people get inspired by the writing prompts they find on our Twitter or this weekly compilation. There's no shame having no inspiration or idea what to write about, after all our lives aren't always excited and sometimes we prefer having a read over watching tv..

I personally watched a new Spanish tv show last week and I'm almost done watching it now. Entrevias is the name, maybe you have seen it, if so, please refrain from leaving me spoilers about the end as I yet have to finish it today or tomorrow. Once done, I will write a review about it..

Wallstreet Movie Quote

Let's start today's Weekly Writing Prompts compilation with a movie quote. This quote is from the movie Wallstreet from 1987: "Greed, for the lack of a better word, is good". Now this prompt could inspire you to write about the movie Wallstreet, write about another movie about stocks or a documentary. Think about the Wallstreet bets news or maybe it was the word greed in this quote that caught your attention and sparked something inside to write about. The possibilities are endless, let's see what you come up with!

Reality TV

I remember "The real world" being a thing on MTV back in the days, but I admit that I didn't see many real world episodes myself. I do know it's probably the very first of all these reality shows which are now being aired in bulk all over the world by every tv channel available. I enjoy some good reality tv myself, some for laughs and giggles, others because it's awkward to watch and some just plain stupid or romantic.

Currently, my guilty pleasure is watching Big Brother (Dutch/Belgium) for as long as this season lasts. I remember watching the first years of Big Brother decades ago, until I got fed up and other shows started to appear. I believe this season is the third one together with Belgium and I have to say, by far better than season 1 and 2 of the Dutch/Belgium Big Brother. I love to see the new game elements and of course the big brother coins they can earn, which was newly introduced this year.

Cryptocurrency

I don't think this prompt needs much explanation as it's simply written in the prompt. CineTV is part of Hive and Hive is a blockchain, we write and curate content and earn cryptocurrency for doing so. I remember when I first joined the previous platform and everything was such a big blur to me, I wondered if I would ever be able to grab my head around it. Thankfully, I didn't give up and today I'm still thankful for the opportunities presented, the connections made, the lessons learned, the inspiration I felt after reading someone's post or seeing one's art and I can go on for a bit..

In short, this blockchain brings so much more value to my life than the earnings. Other things are equally important. Although the learning curve can be steep for some, stick it through, keep going and engage and you will not regret it!
