Years after the last Mortal Kombat with Christopher Lambert in the role of Raiden, the lord of lightning, I recently saw the remake of 2021, finding a more accurate plot and cutting-edge special effects.

Let's be clear, the 1995 file was a real garbage but, for those who played the famous game in the arcade, then they will know well the enthusiasm that welcomed the release of the film in almost 30 years ago, and every limit to the plot above all is forgiven by the vision of the characters in flesh and blood.

The new film is definitely more captivating, interesting, enjoyable. The plot is good enough, although I admit that it must be really difficult to bring films from the world of videogames to the cinema. Expectations are always high and we are always disappointed.

But if you are passionate about videogames and want to give the film a second chance, I suggest you watch it with carefree and without many expectations, I am sure it will give you a couple of relaxing hours!

A distanza di anni dall'ultimo Mortal Kombat con Christopher Lambert nel ruolo di Raiden, il signore dei fulmini, ho di recente visto il remake del 2021, riscontrando una trama più accurata ed effetti speciali all'avanguardia.

Chiariamoci, il file del 1995 era una vera immondizia ma, per chi ha giocato al celebre game nelle sala giochi, allora conoscerà bene l'entusiasmo che ha accolto l'uscita della pellicola in quasi 30 anni fa, ed ogni limite alla trama soprattutto è perdonato dalla visione dei personaggi in carne e ossa.

Il nuovo film è decisamente più accattivante, interessante, godibile. La trama è sufficientemente valida, sebbene ammetto che debba essere davvero difficile portare nel cinema film tratti dal mondo dei videogames. Le aspettative sono sempre alte e puntualmente si resta delusi.

Ma se siete appassionati del videogames e volete dare una seconda possibilità al film, vi consiglio di guardarlo con spensieratezza e senza molte aspettative, sono certo che saprà regalarvi un paio d'ore rilassanti!
