Skull Island is an American anime-influenced adventure television series developed by Brian Duffield for Netflix. It is the first television series of the MonsterVerse franchise. The series was produced by Powerhouse Animation, JP and Legendary Television, with Duffield and Jacob Robinson serving as showrunners, and features the voices of Nicolas Cantu, Mae Whitman, Darren Barnet, Benjamin Bratt and Betty Gilpin as a group of shipwrecked characters who find themselves on Skull Island in the 1990s, where they encounter giant-sized prehistoric creatures, including the island's self-appointed guardian Kong.

Good:

Animation is quite good
- background images and foreground images are top notch
- Certain CG sequence is quite blended perfectly
Action is quite good and gruesome
It feels like I’m watching a good Jurassic Park Movie with all the monsters in Skull Island
Fair good amount of Monster Fights
Voice Acting was great for the most part.
Banter and Dialog was good for the most part but some….

Bad:

Certain Banter and Dialog Feels like Millennial Type of Writing
Annie Character feels stand-off-ish did not like her at all
Episode structure and focus was not good.
- It did not space out well on when to put the back story. I wish it was not only one episode
- It should have been split the back story evenly in the main episode so that we can get a bit of world building and contexts on Skull island.
It feels squished together only episode. I wish it was at least 9/10 more episodes.
It ends in a cliff hanger and the second season will be on 2024, Most likely to be cancelled because of Netflix
