I'm not usually a big fan of series, but "Unbelievable" is one of those shows that hooks you within five minutes and compels you to keep watching until the end. I'll try to write a spoiler-free review, which is a challenge, since it's a powerful Netflix miniseries, based on real events, and it tackles sensitive topics with masterful delicacy.

At first, I hesitated to watch it because I don't like intense and heartbreaking stories, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Although the central theme is intense, what truly captivates you is the humanism that contrasts with the shocking events that unfold. "Unbelievable" portrays the harsh reality of a young woman abused by a flawed system, where justice and truth seem unattainable.

The series focuses on Marie Adler, a young woman who reports an assault, but whose version is questioned by the authorities. In contrast, we have two detectives, played by Toni Collette and Merritt Wever, who begin to connect the dots that others have overlooked. Their professionalism and dedication stand in stark contrast to the inefficiency of the system.

These two detectives are the heart of the story. Their interactions are excellent and highlight their more human side and their concern for due process, even showing empathy for the victims they try to help. The series focuses not only on the police work but also on the psychological process of the victim and the persistence of the investigation.

image I'm impressed by how concisely the flaws in the judicial system are shown, without embellishment, and more as a critique of it. It's a necessary series, sometimes uncomfortable, but profoundly hopeful in its portrayal of rigor and humanity in the pursuit of justice.

I highly recommend it because I found it exceptional; it keeps you on the edge of your seat, anticipating each event as if it were electrifying. It tackles a very difficult subject with admirable dignity and respect for the victim. If you're looking for a series that makes you reflect, that captivates you from the first minute, and above all, is honest... this is the one.

I recommend it 100%🏆; I was fascinated, especially because in the end it leaves you with a powerful lesson and a renewed faith that there are people who are truly worthwhile.

Por lo general, no soy muy fan de las series, pero "Inconcebible" es una de esas obras que, a los cinco minutos, te engancha y te obliga a seguir viéndola hasta llegar al final. Intentaré hacer una reseña sin spoilers, lo cual es un reto, ya que es una miniserie de Netflix poderosa, basada en hechos reales y que aborda temas sensibles con una delicadeza magistral.

Al principio dudé en verla porque no me gustan las historias fuertes y desgarradoras, pero me alegro de haberle dado una oportunidad. Aunque el tema central es intenso, lo que realmente te atrapa es el humanismo que contrasta con los sucesos impactantes que se desarrollan. "Inconcebible" retrata la cruda realidad de una joven abusada por un sistema deficiente, donde la justicia y la verdad parecen inalcanzables.

Te la recomiendo porque me ha parecido excepcional; te mantiene en vilo, esperando cada acontecimiento como si fuera electrizante. Aborda un tema durísimo con dignidad y respeto admirables hacia la víctima. Si buscas una serie que te haga reflexionar, que te atrape desde el primer minuto y que, sobre todo, sea honesta... esta es la elegida.

Te la recomiendo 100%🏆; a mí me fascinó, sobre todo porque al final te deja con una gran enseñanza y una fe renovada en que hay personas que realmente valen la pena.
