Netflix is in the process of buying Warner Bros., which includes HBO and HBO Max. If the deal goes through, the entire catalog should go to Netflix.

I cancelled mine a while ago too. I pay for HBO Max; I was one of the first to subscribe to the streaming plan back then, and I still pay half price.
I don't know if I'll pay for a Netflix subscription; it's too expensive here.
There's also so much free stuff already, one can't possibly watch everything :)
