Todo empezó durante una larga charla que tuve con mi hijo. Entre tantas cosas que nos dijimos se me salio esta expresión: "hazlo pues, quiza corras con la misma suerte del llanero solitario." A lo que inmediatamente me pregunto, quien es ese?

De lo que vagamente recuerdo le respondí:

Es el protagonista de una serie de televisión que vi y disfrute muchísimo durante mi infancia y parte de la juventud. Yo veía al personaje como un héroe que ademas era muy guapo, a pesar de usar un antifaz y al que nunca le vi su completo rostro.

Es una leyenda del lejano oeste. La historia en si de todos sus capítulos es muy bonita. Entre hazanas y victorias el protagonista se desenvuelve en un mundo donde reina la injusticia y la maldad. Como todo ser justo siempre busco la igualdad, la justicia y la equidad. Lo que ocasiono ser odiado y perseguido.

Un día este Ranger de Texas fue gravemente herido. Uno de sus amigos de la infancia lo encontró y lo cuido hasta que sanaron sus heridas. A partir de ese momento ya no era solo el LLanero Solitario sino que lo acompanaria en todas sus andanzas su gran amigo Toro.

En la conversación salio a relucir esta frase porque a los hijos hay que hablarles claro, ellos piensan que la vida es color de rosas y que todo lo que ven en la televisión suele hacerse realidad (algunos acontecimientos pueden evitarse).

En busca de ser justos y que el mundo gire a la perfección nuestra, nos podemos encontrar con gente muy mala, que se encargaran por todos los medios de evitar que ese mundo igualitario, justo y de equidad pueda hacerse realidad. La vida del guerrero o héroe correrá peligro. Debe asumir con conciencia las consecuencias de sus actos.

Pero a la vez, este mundo tan desigual nos regala la presencia de buenos amigos, personas fieles, leales y sinceras que se unen por una misma causa.

Si tienes la oportunidad de ver cualquiera de los capítulos de esta serie podrás disfrutar de una gran producción. No recuerdo en este instante el nombre de los acores. Si me contó mi mama que el protagonista no fue siempre el mismo, hubo un cambio en el personaje del Lanero Solitario. Lo mas importante es que ver televisión en mi época de mi niñez y parte de mi juventud fue bonito y divertido.

Me encanta cuando recuerdo la imagen del hombre en el caballo blanco llamado Plata, gritando Hi-Yo Silver!
