I saw this movie a few years ago and although I loved the story, the cast and the plot, I didn't feel amazed by it. I mean it was kind of the same with Fincher's The Game: everybody loves it but I don't. I recognize it's a great movie and I think you point out several key elements but I just didn't really connect.

It's not a fantastic film but Anthony Hopkins is fantastic. I can't really thik of any film that he was bad in except for maybe whatever the hell he was supposed to be in Thor or whatever that Marvel movie was. He wasn't bad it that either though, he was just not the right person for the role or the role was beneath him.
