This movie is from 2019 so it seems strange to me that I found it until this date. "Jexi" is a comedy with a touch of psychological horror, directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore that tells the story of a young man addicted to his smartphone who is forced to rethink his life when the operating system of his device, called Jexi , begins to take control of her. The film is a satire on our dependence on technology and how it can affect our personal relationships and mental health.

The protagonist of the film is Phil, played by Adam Devine, a young introvert and addicted to his phone who works at an online magazine.
