Code 8: Part II, one of the new productions of the year 2024, clarifies some situations that I think are quite current with its subject. With the developing technology, we see many unique innovations that are said to be developed to make human life easier. Robots integrated with artificial intelligence are at the top of the list.

In the movie Code 8: Part II, robots and robot dogs, which are put into the service of humans, are tasked with maintaining order by replacing the police in dangerous times. While this development, which is likely to take place in the near future, is dealt with more negatively throughout the movie, it can be seen as a warning in terms of what might happen.

Some of the worst imaginable repercussions have found a place in the story of the movie, proving that people's fears have commonalities. The simplest scenario in the script is that the limits can be crossed by corrupt people using technology to abuse all the blessings of technology for the continuation of the order based on fear and power.

The statements of those who represent the ugliest form of moral decadence that they will use the means at their disposal for the greater benefit of the people lose their validity at some point. It is clear from the very beginning that the aim is to create a society that is far away from reactions, that does not speak, hear or see, thanks to the fear that is intended to be created.

Watching the front and back of all this throughout the movie makes you feel like you are proving the existence of known facts. Of course, this is a movie, and for now it is fiction; I have no objection to that, and I can admit that I already got the most enjoyment out of the movie. But it seems inevitable that such thoughts will come to mind, especially for those who have reservations about artificial intelligence. In fact, I think it is these fears that create the fiction in the movie.

Choosing robots designed to fight against people with a certain special power and ability to destroy people who have the potential to commit crimes in the wrong hands instead of stopping them is committing a crime under the name of crime prevention. I think this division in the movie was remarkable as one of the details that increased the pleasure of watching.

The characters who are enemies of each other unite in the face of the enemy threat, reminding us that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The fluidity of the story and the scenes with fast transitions full of action were the most enjoyable moments of the movie. The excitement of the movie rises after the moments when the division occurs and everyone reveals their side.

Whether it takes place in the future or remains as fiction, I think the story of the movie is special. If I adapt the story, which is based on a city, to the world, it is certain that the chaos and deaths would be much more severe, and the movie realized in such a scenario would be a great beauty.

What I liked the most in the movie was the acting performance of Sirena Gulamgaus, who gives life to the character of Pav. The way she reflected the character's inner world and the abilities she had was worth seeing. Another detail I liked in general was the way the two antagonistic characters suspended their personal problems in the face of the common enemy.

I recommend watching Code 8: Part II without hesitation for those who are interested in the story of the movie. You may experience an expansion and sharpening of the thoughts you had before the movie after watching it. I can also say that the story of the movie will lead to prejudices in some subjects and concerns about some technological developments. I think the makers of the movie may have wanted to draw attention to this aspect of the work.
