There are values that hold a family together. To give an example from myself; my father is the most important value that holds the whole family together. His presence has the power to unite the whole family. Every weekend he organizes a dinner where the whole family gathers and he wants the whole family and those who have joined the family to attend.

In the past of a broken and disorganized family, there are examples like the one above. The difference can be explained by the absence of the person who holds the family together. Released in 2020, the movie June Again is a warm and sincere story about a family's unifying element who mentally disappears for a while and when he returns; he tries to bring his broken family back together.

The plot of the movie is based on the perfect processing and reflection of a real-life plot that has definitely taken place in our lives or the lives of our acquaintances around us. Even though the story of the movie is based on the theme of reuniting a broken family, the little spicy details added to the story add extra value to the movie.

One of the small details I am referring to is the incomplete love story of the main character in his youth. Actually, I'm not sure how accurate it would be to use the word incomplete. If you don't see love with someone as living in the same house, sleeping in the same bed, starting and ending the day together, you can call it a fully lived love story instead of an incomplete love story.

Noni Hazlehurst, who portrays June, the main female character of the film and the unifying element of the family, gives an excellent performance in the film with both her presence and absence. What I meant by her existence, of course, was the effective power of the character June, which she brought to life, over the family. The character delivers such an impressive performance in bringing a broken family back together that it is impossible not to admire him. The absence of memory is the memory loss that the character experiences for a while due to illness. Even though he was physically present in the film at the moments I mentioned, he seemed to be absent because he had lost his power; She gave a very successful performance even with the way she reflected her absence.

The movie June Again has such a final scene; are there really people in the world who live love in this way? How much sacrifice can you make when you mentally lose someone you already lost physically years ago? It begs the question. Moreover, there is no return for the sacrifice made. The memories are lost along with the lost memory.

While the movie June Again focuses on the character of June, from her youth to her old age, and what she has experienced and what she has not experienced, it perfectly depicts the effect of having a strong character on the family. The element of being the unifying force of the family is fully portrayed through the character. I loved the movie even in this form, but what I loved the most was the way love was portrayed.

I find the movie June Again worth watching even for the last scene I mentioned. I recommend you to watch the movie with its scenario that I think everyone will find pieces of their own family besides love. You should especially see Noni Hazlehurst's outstanding performance as June. I loved the movie and the character, I hope you will love it and have a good time. Thank you for reading.
