Changing your perspective means taking a different approach to the same event, seeing what you couldn't see before and changing your habits. Being open to new options allows you to see what you cannot see because it changes your perspective.

Eleanor (played by Shailene Woodley) is a female detective who is able to approach a case from different angles and uncover the truth with a talent that others don't have.

Elenaor, played by Shailene Woodley with a very successful performance, is the main character of the 2023 movie Misanthrope. Let me say from the beginning that the movie is in the crime genre and the story is about uncovering the perpetrator of a crime committed. I know that this kind of detective movie has its own audience and I include myself in that audience.

The story starts in a mysterious way and triggers a sense of curiosity during the viewing. I liked the scenes of the criminal being uncovered and neutralized, which they managed to keep mysterious until almost the last scenes.

Keeping the character of the mass murderer a mystery until the very end gives the movie an extra positive atmosphere. Curiosity and fluidity go hand in hand, making the story as gripping as possible. Another detail that I liked, which was not emphasized too much, was that instead of presenting the perpetrator of the mass murder as a criminal, his own story was highlighted through his past experiences.

Cause-and-effect relationships are questioned a lot and each piece of the puzzle is evaluated and appreciated for the way it reaches a solution. I liked the script and the performances of the actors. The efforts of those in power to conceal, change and justify themselves in sensitive issues for society, such as mass murder, are added to the film.

I question that it should not be so easy to waste someone or some people for your own purposes. After this questioning, I wonder whether those who committed mass murder alone are guilty, or whether those who prepared the infrastructure for them and gave them the opportunity to justify what they did are also guilty.

The movie Misanthrope has a completely fictionalized story, but similar events have occasionally occupied the world public opinion in the past. Therefore, anyone who watches the movie will have no difficulty in adapting it to our past or present lives.

I wholeheartedly recommend watching the movie. If everyone who has been treated unfairly behaves similarly, the chain link will go on and on. The attitude of "I have been treated unfairly, let me do injustice too" will not eliminate any injustice and will create new injustices.
