The 2021 movie Penguin Bloom is a beautiful movie that you will not be able to find, and it perfectly reflects a family drama with its simple narrative. Let me tell you right away, don't expect too much from the movie because the movie focuses on an accident that could happen to any of us at any moment and all the family members affected by the consequences of the accident. In this way, it turns out to be a family movie in the drama genre that offers a pleasant viewing pleasure.

In other words, you won't find sci-fi, fairytale heroes, action scenes, a fantasy world or a visualization of the dusty pages of history in the movie. The movie is completely inspired by a real life and the family of the person who has that life. The result is a series of enjoyable, questioning and educational scenes that are reflections of warm, sincere behavior and the measured reckoning of characters who blame themselves for what happened.

Having to taste nothingness as a result of a sudden accident is the beginning of the tragic story. In fact, I can say that I was mesmerized by the scenes consisting of warm images of the family before the accident. While watching a magical atmosphere created from such beautiful images, it was a bit disappointing that the magical atmosphere was disrupted by the accident that came when you least expected it. It's not unexpected that something goes wrong at a time when everything is going well, because that's how it always happens. It is one of the unwritten rules not only in movies but also in real life.

What are obstacles for? To be overcome, of course. Naomi Watts as Sam Bloom successfully portrayed the role of a responsible member of the family, a mother and a wife, although she underperformed in overcoming the challenges she faced. But she was definitely not my favorite actress in the film because she stood out too much with her easy vulnerability in every challenge.

Andrew Lincoln as Cameron Bloom, a strong husband and father figure, was the best human character in the movie. I liked his strong stance and the way he handled the storms he was going through. Frankly, as someone who is used to a strong father figure, I liked his characterization of his strong stance extra.

My favorite character in the movie was the wounded Magpie bird who joined the family later. In addition to his exemplary behavior for the characters in the film, at one point he took the steering wheel as if he was the main actor of the film. There are such nice scenes that I really wonder what kind of materials or tricks were used to make the magpie do these things. Lol

While the movie focuses on the Bloom family in general, it was successful in the way it reflected the effects and consequences of the tragic accident they experienced. The scenes of interrogation and reckoning were quite realistic. Especially in the moments after the accident and the accident, I can say that it was a lesson. It was also very instructive about how big the consequences of a small mistake can be. I enjoyed watching it very much.

If you are in the mood to watch a different movie today, the Penguin Bloom movie is for you, I think you should definitely watch it. Simple, straightforward and family-oriented productions can leave a lasting impression on people for a while, besides the pleasure of watching. I think the movie has the power and genre to provide exactly this effect. You can watch it with your family, it doesn't have any negative scenes. Thank you for being here and reading, and I wish a good time to those who will watch it.
