There is no sacrifice we wouldn't make for wealth, and we still want it despite our advancing age. With his near-perfect acting, Jorma Tommila, the leading actor of the 2023 film Sisu, in which he plays the character of Aatomi Korpi, shows us the consequences of taking away the only thing a person has and the consequences of his determination triggered by his inner strength.

Let me say from the beginning that Sisu is the story of a man who is a hero in his own life rather than creating a war hero. When it comes to his own life or an animate and inanimate being that adds color to his life, the struggle for survival, the power of struggle, determination, even powers as exaggerated as the discourse of immortality, extra powers that can be possessed can emerge.

It's just a movie and anything can happen in a movie, but in similar situations, in real life, there are situations where the potential is exceeded. There are triggering events that determine these situations. When a threat is perceived, the extraordinary struggle to defend oneself can go far beyond one's endurance.

This is an example for better understanding. I'm sure you can give your own example, but in the end, when strengths such as determination, not giving up easily, and resilience are at their peak, unexpected performances are normal rather than abnormal.

Jorma Tommila, who gives life to the character of Aatomi Korpi, shows with his superior acting performance how to eliminate the threat that emerges just when he finds what he is looking for (gold) in an environment where he isolates himself. Of course, there is a chain of events that triggers the forces that emerge during his superior performance. This chain of events is exactly the story of the movie.

The movie Sisu contains exaggerated scenes of action in war visuals, but these exaggerations suit the movie so well that I don't want to make any criticism. It wouldn't be right to throw away the whole story over a few scenes when you could make an average movie duration more enjoyable.

I think if you haven't seen the movie until now, watch it without thinking. It will be worth your time for sure. I would just like to warn you that this is a fight back and kill to live kind of movie and some scenes may be disturbing. Be careful who you watch the movie with!

One of the main lessons of the movie is that no matter what age you are, the power of money and wealth is an irresistible temptation... And this temptation is enough to draw you to its center, even if it involves extremes that will keep you alive or kill you.
