Now that #LeoFinance has had #LeoThreads up and running for a while, I think it's time to start adding it to the overall #HIVE and #LEO vernacular. If it's going to one day compete with the Twitters of the world, it needs to have some phrases that just roll off the tongue.

Like most of you I'm sure, I can still remember the days when "Tweeting" sounded stupid.

"You're going to what?!? Tweet?!? What's the past tense, Twit?"

"Okay, whatever."

Now it's used in everyday speech and people that don't even use Twitter say it when they think it's something everyone should hear. Pretty crazy.

I also remember the days when you searched for something on the internet. Now you just "Google it". Doesn't matter if you use Bing or Brave or whatever, Google has (at least for now) become synonymous with looking up information.

That's where #LeoThreads ultimately needs to get. Fortunately, using forethought or not, #Threads actually has some phrases that work pretty well. In fact I just #Threadedout a thread on a couple of these phrases.

You can #Threadit.

You could #Threaditout.

Put it on #Threads.

So far, that's all I've come up with. But I'm sure there are more good ones.

In the meantime, I encourage everyone to start using these phrases.

They're easy to say, make sense, and if we want #Threads to become an everyday, household name, we need to start using them so they become second nature. #Threads is a great tool and a quick, easy, and fun format to use. Plus, you can actually get votes worth money! How great is that?!?

I'm sure we can even get these phrases added to #LeoGlossary so if and when people start hearing them in the outside world, they can "Google" them and end up here. :-)

Help get the party started! #Threaditout

(Feel free to add more phrases in the comments below. The more the merrier!)

Merry Christmas!!!

Not sure if the Threads name was only ever intended to be a placeholder.

But it's really grown on me and I actually like it if that's what we go with in the end.

Yeah, at this point anything else would kind of seem anti-climactic. I've finally moved on from "Project-Blank". I can't see them changing it again, but maybe...?

Oftentimes the simplest is the best. It doesn't get too much easier or more apropos than #threads.

New things take getting used to for me to fully adjust to it. Ill be paying more attention to #threads. Gracias

It's something I think people should try to check out everyday. Just scroll through a few of them and see if you can add anything to the conversation. It's also a good source of articles and a way for you to put out a quick recap on an article you've written.

Just another tool in the toolbox we can all use.
