good day today I want to talk in this #hive community about a new series based on a graphic novel or comic that is already a cult, a classic among comics and with a dark touch THE SANDMAN

this year 2022 this series of this vertigo character finally came out (an appendage of dc comics but all his stories are darker) I say finally because I remember that in 2005 it was heard or read in different magazines referring to comics that were they going to release a series or movie of the character, if we count from the year 2005 to this year 2022, how many years have passed?

but finally this very good and almost perfect adaptation was born, why almost perfect? because we return to what has damaged netflix from different angles THE FORCED INCLUSION something for which netflix itself fired many employees who had the exact function of changing characters of one sex for another, orientation, race and others thus creating disgust those of us who want to see something faithful to a book or comic, as is my case

and that is not why I will say that I am against the inclusion on the contrary if we see Corinthian is a gay character in the comics and he is gay in the series and that is not why he is a bad character, it is more that he is my second favorite the truth, the problem is When for some reason you want to change a character simply to say THAT YOU MUST HAVE INCLUSION if the comic already had it, what is the reason for enlarging it much more in a series?

you have to know how to set limits, which by the way those who do not know limits are what they are creating and soon the new Lord of the Rings series will come out that I will not see, due to the same issue of forced inclusion, taking a book with more 70 years old and wanting to change characters like saurom who will now be androgynous and delicate, something that does not fit in an already well-known story but anyway that is another series

Other than that, the characters seemed super good regardless of the change, death, despite changing her race, I liked her a lot and not because she was colored or not, but because of how the actress acted, the one I didn't like was Johanna Constantine for me a bad shot of decision in wanting a constantine woman and not because she is a woman but because canstantine is john and not johana but well nothing else can be done hahaha

but morpheus let's say that they couldn't choose someone better, impossible that there is another better actor than this one for this role, for me netflix did something perfect and faithful in the comic choosing him, maybe it's not as misaligned as the one in the comic but it's like seeing it but younger and already but really netflixwhen he wants to do something well he does it well and this series is one despite the flaws that I already mentioned

And of course there are other things that would have taken this series to a god level, for example places and characters from comics such as batman or etrigan would appear, which by the way are closely linked to the sandman, where jhon dee was confined when his mother arrived at visiting him in the comics was arkham itself arkham of gothic city or another example is that the one who receives at the gates of hell is etrigan and not the demon that guides morpheus and so on other examples but in the end for rights reasons they could not use them or at least I read that

but in short, a very good and almost perfect series, if you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? I give it a 9/10 and by the way they released two more chapters and they have already started or will start creating the second season so you know

and well I finished this post today to start this day with good information, then I bring you more points of view of series that I have seen and I will see, we will see you soon
