Road House a controversial but fun remake [ENG/SPA]

I think the algorithm did it to me again, I've been wanting to see this movie for days, and since I've been talking about it, I've received several posts about the controversy surrounding it. At first it caught my attention to see that it was related to something from the UFC, that was enough publicity to make me want to see it along with the performance or participation of some interesting people.

Creo que el algoritmo me la hizo otra vez, llevo días queriendo ver está película, y desde que converso sobre ella, he recibido varias publicaciones de la controversia que la rodea. En un principio me llamo la atención ver que estaba relacionada con algo de la UFC, esa fue publicidad suficiente para desear querer verla junto a la actuación o participación de algunas interesantes.

But the curiosity to see it increased when I learned that it was an exclusive release of Amazon MGN Studios, it seems that this is old news, but I just found out that Amazon had bought MGN, and what would be a theatrical release, ended up being a streaming release. Apparently this brought a lot of problems especially with its director Doug Liman who criticized this action and tried to boycott its release, since he created a movie for the big screen.

Pero la curiosidad por verla aumento cuando supe que era un estreno exclusivo de Amazon MGN Studios, parece que esta es noticia vieja, pero yo recién me enteré que Amazon había comprado MGN, y lo que sería un estreno para salas de cine, termino siendo un estreno para streaming. Al parecer esto trajo muchos problemas en especial con su director Doug Liman que critica esta acción y trato de boicotear su estreno, ya que el creo una película para la gran pantalla.

The truth is that controversy is usually one of the best showcases to promote, it is unfortunate to say, because I truly believe that this movie would have been successful in theaters due to its relationship with the UFC, with Conor McGregor's debut and all the controversy surrounding him, strutting on the red carpet at the premiere, or Post Malone's cameo at the beginning of the movie that would surely attract all his fans, making it a very commercial movie.

Lo cierto es que la controversia suele ser una de las mejores vitrinas para promocionar, es lamentable decirlo, porque creo que de verdad esta película hubiera sido exitosa en los cines debido a su relación con la UFC, con el debut de Conor McGregor y toda la controversia que le rodea, pavoneándose en la alfombra roja del estreno, o el cameo de Post Malone al principio de la película que seguro atraería a todos sus fans, convirtiéndola en una película muy comercial.

Apart from the controversy, it is very striking that everyone who reviews the film ends up agreeing that the story is a cliche, a man who was once famous or who had everything, who loses it for x reason and lives events that redeem him or bring up his past, nothing new, this has been told many times, in this case the story lacks originality, it was only given topicality but it is still a remake.

Many say that being based on what was a cult movie, it would be difficult to be as successful, but the truth is that not everyone knows that it is based on a movie of the 80's starring Patrick Swayze, because to be frank, I do not think it was so great. I think the link with the UFC to this new version, gives a lot of topicality and appeal to this film, at least for me because it is the style of fighting that is fashionable these days, making it appealing to the new generations.

Apartándome de la controversia, llama mucho la atención que todo el que hace un review de la película termina coincidiendo que su historia es un cliche, un hombre que alguna vez fue famoso o que tuvo todo, que lo pierde por x motivo y vive acontecimientos que lo redimen o que traen a flote su pasado, nada nuevo, esto se ha contado muchas veces, en este caso la historia carece de originalidad, solo se le dio actualidad pero no deja de ser un remake.
Muchos dicen que al estar basada en lo que fue una película de culto, tendría dificil ser igual de exitosa, pero la verdad que no todos sabemos que está basada en una película de los 80 protagonizada por Patrick Swayze, porque para ser franco, no creo que haya sido tan grande. Creo que el vínculo con la UFC a esta nueva version, le da mucha actualidad y atractivo a esta película, por lo menos para mí porque es el estilo de lucha que está de moda en estos tiempos, haciéndola llamativa a las nuevas generaciones.

The action sequences are a poem, I think it is the biggest attraction of the film, I really enjoyed them as a fan of the UFC, usually this kind of movies are very over acted, it happened to me with the Creed saga, everything looks so fake that I did not even dare to waste my time with the third movie, but with this one even though I know it is fake and at times it looked like a first person fighting video game, I found the fights very entertaining and the combat mechanics very well done.

Las secuencia de acción son todo un poema, creo que es el más grande atractivo de la película, las disfrute mucho como fan de la UFC, normalmente este tipo de películas se ven muy sobre actuadas, me pasó con la saga Creed, todo se ve muy falso que ni me atreví a perder mi tiempo con la tercera película, pero con esta a pesar de que se que es falso y por momentos parecía un videojuego de lucha en primera persona, me parecieron peleas muy entretenidas y las mecánicas de combate muy bien hechas

I think it would have been a very commercial film if it was released in theaters, it's pretty funny, although not great things, without wanting to belittle, too bad it ended up involved in some controversy, the boycott of its director for his alleged fear that large corporations like Amazon take over the film industry and fewer films are released in cinemas, but history has taught us that the content to see from home should improve and abound, because we do not know when we can't go out again.

Creo que hubiera sido un film muy comercial si su estreno se da en cines, es bastante divertido, aunque no la gran cosas, sin deseos de menospreciar, lastima que terminó envuelta en algo de polémica, el boicot de su director por su supuesto temor a que las grandes corporaciones como Amazon se apropien de la industria del cine y sean menos las películas que se estrenen los cinemas, pero la historia nos ha enseñado que el contenido para ver desde casa debe mejorar y abundar, porque no sabemos cuando nos toque de nuevo no poder salir.
