Scavengers Reign | A concept that is familiar but full of creativity [ENG/SPA]

The story is set in the future when mankind has achieved sufficient technological advances to carry out planetary exploration, accompanied by great work of collecting resources with the help of large spacecraft that transport them and take them to new colonies on other worlds.

La historia se sitúa en el futuro cuando la humanidad a logrados los suficientes avances tecnológicos para llevar a cabo la exploración planetaria, acompañado de grandes trabajos de recolección de recursos con la ayuda de grandes naves espaciales que los transportan y los llevan a nuevas colonias en otros mundos.

It presents more specifically the story of the survivors of one of these ships that suffered a tragedy in space, they were thrown from the ship in escape pods to a nearby planet. The scenes are divided between 4 of these survivors who struggle to get back in contact with the ship that was left in orbit and somehow return home.

Se nos presenta mas específicamente la historia de los sobrevivientes de una de estas naves que a sufrido una tragedia en el espacio, estos fueron arrojados desde la nave en cápsulas de escape a un planeta cercano. Las escenas se dividen entre 4 de estos sobrevivientes que luchan por volver a estar en contacto con la nave que quedó en órbita y así de alguna manera volver a casa.

But in the midst of their efforts they must face the nature of an unknown planet with an impressive fauna, which stands out greatly and seems to be fully connected even with the geography of the planet. So far it all sounded super familiar, shades of Alien, Avatar, even Dune were peeking through in many of its scenes, but what got me hooked was the innovation of the animation and the diversity of fauna that was created.

Pero en medio de sus esfuerzos deben enfrentarse a la naturaleza de un planeta desconocido con una fauna impresionante, que destaca grandemente y que parece estar plenamente conectada incluso con la geografía del planeta. Hasta ahora todo me sonaba super familiar, los matices de Alien, Avatar, incluso Dune se asomaban en muchas de sus escenas, pero lo que me dejó enganchado fue la innovación de la animación y la diversidad de fauna que se creó.

When I refer to innovation in terms of animation, I'm referring to the details that were taken care of in the scenes where the fauna and flora of the planet constantly interact with the survivors and their natural environment. It is really very detailed in processes such as the reaction to a substance that the human body doesn't know, how the characteristics of an animal can be favorable for the solution of a problem, or how technology responds to the conditions of a new world, etc.

Cuando me refiero a la innovación en cuanto animación, me refiero a los detalles que se cuidaron en las escenas donde la fauna y flora del planeta interactúa constantemente con los sobrevivientes y su entorno natural. Realmente es muy detallista en procesos como la reacción a una sustancia que el cuerpo humano no conoce, como las características de un animal pueden ser favorables para la solución de un problema, o cómo la tecnología responde a las condiciones de un nuevo mundo, etc.

This is what makes this animated series special, not its story and plot that will be very similar to something you have already seen and sometimes you will feel that it lacks depth, but that doesn't affect you when you are immersed in a visual narrative of multiple details that make an impact because of how well done they are, where the main character is a planet and its flora and fauna.

Esto es lo que hace especial a esta serie animada, no su historia y trama que resultara muy parecida a algo que ya has visto y que en ocasiones sentirás que carece de profundidad, pero eso no te afecta cuando estás inmerso en una narrativa visual de multiples detalles que causan impacto por lo bien hechas que están, donde el personaje principal es un planeta su flora y fauna.
