Saludos comunidad, finalmente he tenido la oportunidad de completar una serie, llevaba tiempo sin poder hacerlo, me lo facilitó el hecho de que contiene son episodios cortos de menos de 30 minutos, bien condensados en cuanto a trama y entretenimiento, de primera mano puedo decir que es una buena serie que me ha dejado con deseos de seguir su historia, ya que cuenta con dos temporadas, la más reciente estrenada hace poco, la cual finaliza con acontecimiento inconclusos que necesitan un cierre, lo que da a entender que habrá una tercera temporada.

I understand that it is one of the series of the moment, the first season received very good reviews, which I share, it is very good and the second season is not far behind. I think I understand why people who have seen the series have liked it a lot, at least it was one of the things I liked the most, the diversity of characters and the dynamics between them is one of the best and most natural I've seen in a while, plus each of the characters evolves very well from the first to the second season, you can start hating them and end up loving them.

Tengo entendido que es una de las series del momento, la primera temporada recibió muy buenas críticas, las cuales comparto, es muy buena y la segunda temporada no se queda atrás. Creo entender porque las personas que han visto la serie les ha gustado mucho, por lo menos fue una de las cosas que mas me gusto, la diversidad de personajes y la dinámica entre ellos es una de las mejores y mas naturales que he visto en un buen tiempo, además cada uno de los personajes evoluciona muy bien de la primera a la segunda temporada, que puedes empezar odiandolos y terminas amándolos.

En la primera temporada vemos cómo pasan del caos a tener cierto control de diversas situaciones que se suscitan, pero luego pasa algo interesante, cuando todo parece avanzar y mejorar, con uno que otro desafío, empiezas a cuestionar que todo avanza muy bien para ser verdad, es ahí donde todo da un vuelco intenso para dejarte deseoso de continuar viendo, y solo por eso la serie vale la pena, creo que es una firme candidata para llevarse varios premios.

The Plot

La segunda temporada es de completa evolución, los personajes prosperan y se convierten en profesionales, pero no pierden su esencia, eso me encantó, igualmente el restaurante empieza a desarrollar un concepto nuevo de la mano de los genios de la cocina Carmen y Sydney, pero tienen muchos obstáculos que sortear, el mas grande de todo es remodelar con un préstamo, el cual deben pagar en 18 meses, en una ciudad donde otros restaurantes no han tenido éxito y cierran sus puertas.

Mi capitulo favorito es el séptimo de la segunda temporada titulado 'Tenedores' vemos a Richie, quien trabaja en el restaurante desde hace mucho, el se siente primo del chef Carmen a pesar de no tener ningún lazo familiar, el a sido uno de los principales opositores al cambio, es un hombre amargado, fracasado familiarmente, con poco talento, además de agresivo y poco comprensivo.

His cousin Chef Carmen sends him to a 7-day internship at the best restaurant in town, where he starts polishing forks every morning, thinking he has been punished by his cousin for opposing change. During those 7 days he discovers how organized and demanding the best restaurant can be, he feels motivated and manages to join the dynamics of the place, and at 45 years old, when he thought it was too late to discover his talents, he finds himself and has a purpose, he is a new man, going from being the most hated character to someone you respect for giving in to change to evolve.

Su primo el chef Carmen lo envía a una pasantía de 7 días en el mejor restaurante de la ciudad, donde empieza puliendo tenedores todas las mañana, pensando que ha sido castigado por su primo por oponerse al cambio. Durante esos 7 días descubre lo organizado y exigente que puede ser el mejor restaurante, se siente motivado y logra incorporarse a la dinámica del lugar, y a sus 45 años, cuando pensaba que ya era tarde para descubrir sus talentos, se encuentra a sí mismo y haya un propósito, es un hombre nuevo, pasando de ser el personaje mas odiado a alguien que respetas por ceder al cambio para evolucionar.

Está serie parece respaldar una idea que ya he escuchado tratar a otras personas sobre el talento de personajes sobresaliente, tal idea señala que una estrella, una figura pública que destaca en cualquier disciplina, deporte, arte u oficio, debe tener una vida caótica para ser extraordinario en lo que domina. En la segunda temporada vemos a Carmen al fin tener una vida personal romántica, pero esta le distrae de su objetivo de convertir el restaurante heredado en el mejor, afectándolo y casi incapacitándolo como buen chef.

I think this series has something for everyone to identify with, we meet the young woman who wants to excel and after a failure believes she has no more opportunities to excel, we meet the middle-aged man who is in crisis with a life full of mistakes that doesn't fit thinking it's too late to excel, the one who is too old to learn, the one we all admire because he is the star and talented but his life is a disaster and suffers from anxiety, the woman who cares for everyone and seems normal but her big flaw is wanting to repair the damage in others.

Creo que esta serie tiene para que todos se identifiquen, conocemos a la joven que quiere sobresalir y que luego de un fracaso cree que no tiene mas oportunidades para sobresalir, conocemos al hombre de mediana edad que está en crisis con una vida llena de desaciertos que no encaja pensando que ya es muy tarde para sobresalir, al que ya es demasiado viejo para aprender, al que todos admiramos porque es la estrella y talentoso pero que su vida es un desastre y sufre de ansiedad, a la mujer que se preocupa por todos y que parece normal pero que su gran defecto es querer reparar el daño en otros.

It is a series loaded with many facets that anyone can identify with, that teaches us that the key to success is preparation ahead of time, that it is never too late to do it, that you can take what seems untalented and turn it into something extraordinary, if there is commitment and dedication.

Es una serie cargada de muchas facetas en la que cualquiera se puede identificar, que nos enseña que la clave del éxito son la preparación con anticipación, que nunca es tarde para hacerlo, que puedes tomar aquello que parece sin talento y convertirlo en algo extraordinario, si existe compromiso y entrega.
