Talk of adventure, action, mysticism, and some humour poured into the plot. I think this film defines it well. A dive into fictional Egyptian mythology and action-adventure. You should find this interesting and enjoyable.

They're making a new sequel with the original cast. Tom Cruise's version didn't really capture the magic.

There was a version released earlier this year. Did you see that? The plot is off the normal adventure-action story, leading more toward a horror-like plot. Unconnected with this one though.
I really like this classic version of The mummy anything it remains unbeatable up to this day
It's the best version. None beats it. Added to the franchise they have again. This is a classic.

Right. A classic that remains interesting and always watchable.
I like films that can mix all of that together. A bit of mystery, some action, mythology and humour can make the whole experience really enjoyable.
Such movies are enjoyable when these are mixed well. This movie does just that.
