My Favourite Fictional character || BDC Shorts Day 2

The first fictional character that comes to mind and that stood out for me while growing up was no other than the Kung fu legend himself, Bruce Lee.

Few will claim not to know this great American born martial artist who even after his death in July 20, 1973, was still popular and well known.

I love his character in all his movies, his fighting techniques was second to known and his cool demeanour was just awesome. I read about some of his training regime and I was blown away. His physic was a testament to this fact.

Off the screen, he was well liked and served as martial art instructor and mentor to many. He was the first Asian to break into Hollywood, which paved way for other famous Asian actors and actresses.

I have watched most of his movies if not all, like, the big boss, the fist of fury, the enter to the dragon and the game of death. His character influenced and helped me build a tough character while growing up and gave me the courage to stand up against bullies. Hehehe…

He died as a result of an allergic reaction to a headache medication, he was 32 years of age and was survived by his wife, son and daughter.

He has inspired a lot of actors and actresses. Movies and tv series were acted in his honour. Recent of them his the tv series, Warrior. It's a two season series and we are hopeful of a third.
